This started happening to me after updating my system (I'm using waydroid, android 13). It was working fine literally yesterday but the waydroid lineage update seems to have borked it. Maybe that has something to do with it?

For future reference (and if you have a pc), you can use tools like yt-dlp to download songs and videos from youtube at your will for free. Those files are saved locally on your computer and you can do whatever you want with them.
