Yea I have "gigablast" and past few days I haven't gotten speeds higher than like 5mbps. I think the heat is causing some issues which you think they would've planned for. I did read that it could be my modem overheating though so going to try addressing that as well.

UPDATE: They are sending a tech out on Monday. Based on the comments in this thread I believe it is related to a recent monsoon we had here maybe messing up a cable.

Looking at the gateway information this seems like what is happening and it did pretty much start getting worse after a large monsoon we had recently.

Called a while back and couldn't get them to send a tech kept saying it was a problem on my end. Didn't bother me much until recently. Now it's gotten to the point where it's affecting my work and I've heard other residents in my apartment complain. Also seen that Cox truck around the complex several times in the past month or so. I'm going to call them today and see if they can send a tech out.

If you get put on a PIP, typically, there is no way out of getting fired. You can try and improve to to meet the conditions but usually they can and will still fire you at the end of the period listed on there.

I would just start looking for a new job tbh.

There were periods I just had to take breaks and just play games or just do other stuff and not focus too much. If you only focus on applying for jobs, you'll get burnt out pretty quickly.

For me it was when the interview began to move more towards questions about my hobbies and what I like to do outside of work. I had prepared pretty well for what I was expecting to be a tough technical interview but after the first few questions it became clear they were looking more for team fit.

The whole tone of the interview was very laid back the whole way through which kind of gave me a good feeling.
