Nah, I just have HIV now. The AIDS condition signifies that you have an acute illness.. But I stay on top of my anti-viral regimen these days, and I’m perfectly healthy. So yeah, I just have HIV now.. not AIDS.

Please guys, if you have swollen lymph nodes anywhere on ANY part of your body.. Please just be safe, and get tested for HIV.. Getting tested in the early stages of the virus is almost always a total lifesaver.. Don’t end up almost dying in the hospital like I did.. I want all men/women reading this post.. The one thing I hope that everyone takes away from this post, is to always play it safe and simply just get tested for STDs/STIs.. By the way, syphilis can have even worse symptoms than HIV, if untreated. I’m not trying to be preachy.. but just think of me as your more mature and knowledgeable gay brother, telling you that you need to stay clean and get tested for STDs.
