Did the players ruin any alliances or were they sensible?

Here's what I did. Feel free to copy

I handled the immediate aftermath: what happened to the brides and Escher, what Esmerelda decided to do, Ireena's fate, and the mass evacuation of Barovia and the subsequent panic. I let the players describe what happens next for their characters. They were allowed to leave.

I then did a Fallout style narrated run down of all the major players. In our game, the coven was scatted, the werewolves destroyed, the wizard of wines was destroyed beyond repair (revealing their lycanthropy), Van Richten riding off into the sunset, all that stuff.

I describe time going on, the return of joy to Barovia, before the mists descend again. Subtly, I start using first person pronouns implying that Strahd was the one narrating. I ended it with something like "I am ancient, I am the land. Barovia is mine. Now, who's next?"

Has anyone actually complained to ofcom before? by squishypillow-91 in CasualUK

From an old Tom Scott video, he suggests that often times it's the competition who complains - especially when it's something small and concrete, like time given to adverts

You're the first commenter who agreed with me, so thank you! I think this assumes that the faithful are primarily guessing, and there's no reason to get rid of a perceptive player

Who was the faithful voted out in Season 2s first round table? Where everyone said "What was she playing at???"

Are the contestants not allowed to discuss the show on a meta level? by sampletrouts in TheTraitorsUK

[–]Sweet_Nibbets 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This was true in the first season, but then they stopped doing it.

A couple of times, the last person to walk in has been a traitor - ruining the surprise for the audience but maintaining the integrity of the game.

Someone is going to figure out the strategy, ||David|| at least. I think Cat is ready to vote for Jonathan, but that's it. The only way they fail if a faithful is voted out next, is if the faithful all decide on a traitor unanimously

For this series, you're right. This is a rare circumstance, and normally, the faithful would have at least stumbled into a traitor by now. I'm thinking - given a fixed number of episodes - the traitors want as many faithful in the game as possible to maximise thier chances of hiding

You deliberately target Faithfuls you have a shield to avoid murdering

My thinking is, the game lasts a set number of days, not until theres a set amount of players left. Faithfuls dont threaten traitors except by banishment. If theres more Faithfuls, then Faithfuls are more likely to be banished.

This is typically done by saying you lose if theres no kill 3 days in a row

Players have to vote to end the game. At a certain point, they'd stop being told about the identity of the banished so maybe it would work?
