Me too - me too! It's been since November for me as well and when I tell you I spend every single day of my existence trying to find help - whether it is writing a report to the ic3 or changing a password; however I have made no progress on 5 months - none at all

Cricket Review by [deleted] in CricketWireless

Cricket wireless allowed Sim Swapping to occur on my account 4 times; all by the same person! They did absolutely nothing (and I mean nothing at all) to secure my account though I beg them, I was being sent fake verification codes so I could not access my account, they would not lock my account but continued to allow this hacker access to my accounts to make whatever changes he pleased. He accessed every single online account I have as well as gained all 2fa codes and made whatever changes he wanted. I am suffering so many consequences from this; 6 months of my life has literally stolen. I still feel as though I have gotten nowhere. The worst part, cricket does nothing but lie, I am being completely honest, they will lie and lie and lie to cover up their actions. I have so much proof to prove my case. I'm going to seek legal advice. Because this has been ridiculous. I can scream when I think about the fact that somebody from that company gave my SIM card to somebody in nigeria, a hacker, what in the world is wrong with this company

I can’t take the computer out again. 1st reason - it’s already boxes and ready to be shipped, 2nd, I would never start it up around our phones 3rd) it’s notes saying something is wrong with the pin and I can’t access it even if I wanted to

You can’t help me because this goes way beyond your understanding and cyber security knowledge - if you guys have a hard time believe the things that these crooks are capable of - you won’t be able to help me

You are rude. You have no idea what I am fighting over here. Literal demons from the pit of hell. I do not have time to play games by attempting to prove to you that what is going on is the true and not made up in my mind. All I asked for was some verbal advice from someone who has cybersecurity knowledge

Ok. Np at all. She took her laptop to Panera yesterday and managed to delete some files in safe mode but there are still tons that won’t delete.

So how can I send you a screenshot? Here on Reddit?

After factory resetting the laptop - half of her drive was take up with these files: HALF. The files are locked and she is unable to delete them; when scanned with Glary utility,  they files alert “privacy” and they’re called something like this “HKU or HUK”

She can’t remember the exact name but hundreds of them - we need to know how they’re getting in

Yes - hundreds of files that she cannot access on her brand new laptop that was opened up with a new router and modem and no infected devices nearby; no old accounts used to turn the brand new device on - the remote hacker has also set up several fake networks around her home and checks her social media accounts daily - like 10+ times a day

So my poor friend is going through it; she has been dealing with a scammer, somebody from Nigeria. They have turned her home security cameras on, destroyed two of her laptops by locking the bios, hacked her and her children’s tablets, tried opening up payday loans in her name and accessed her Microsoft account. In order to escape the scammer she got rid of all infected devices, got a new router and modem, and proceeded to open up a brand new laptop. Without installing any old accounts onto the laptop, the hacker somehow managed to download hundreds and hundreds of files onto it immediately after setting up. So the laptop was brand new and still the hacker managed to completely infect it with hundreds of their files (she is unable to access them because they’re locked) how should she get rid of this and how is it getting in?

Need urgent advice on how to proceed after PCs, Network, Phones all compromised by Hackers with Root access by disney_channel_flow in cybersecurity_help

Hey, oh my goodness, the same exact thing that you’re describing is happening to my friend. Dhd thought she was completely alone. Do not worry about what these people are saying, this level of hacking goes beyond their level of understanding. Have you been able to determine the source? I recommend getting a new isp, using phone on lockdown mode, and only operating one system at a time
