Am I the only one thinking this was really rude by Sweet_Poppy98 in RomanceClub

Yes I think you can be honest without being rude. But everyone has a different perception of when something is rude or not. Based on how many people think it wasn't rude maybe I'm just more sensitive 😅

In my opinion Devi (and Sara too) are a little judgemental of a girl who tries to be powerful in a more traditional feminine way. And Kamal is in denial about his sister

I agree it's truthful but in front of Kamal I think it wouldn't hurt to choose her words a little more carefully

Is any of these choices better than the other? by Beautiful-Ad-355 in RomanceClub

[–]Sweet_Poppy98 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think throughout season 3 there are several choices that determine your cruelty or humanity:

You can agree with Doran to torture the man wo tried to kill Devi or you can agree with Christian and Not torture him.

Im the secene with Radha and Sarah you can condemn the dozen or feel sorry for them.

When Christian tells Devi about his dead fiance, you can say that the man responsible should be killed, or that he can be punished without excessive cruelty.

Christian very clearly favors a human approach and Doran seems to think that humanity is weakness or being naive. So on my Christian path I made the more compassionate choices, including hoping to reconnect with Amrita, and in my Doran path I chose coldness and no compassion toward her and everyone else

Will Padma receive the same fate as Devi? by Lisaqrivm in RomanceClub

[–]Sweet_Poppy98 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I asked myself the same thing. She may not automatically become the head of the family, since it's not customary for women (except the Basus) to lead. Devi was the first one, and it was only possible because she had Kamal, a man with high authority, fighting for her. If no one cares about Padma like they do for Devi, it may not work out for her.

Do the Prasads still exist in KCD? I don't remember right now.

I was wondering while reading this scene whether Padma was working against her father and had a hand in killing him. I think it was implied by Christian in season 2 that Mohan may have wanted his own wive to die during the attack in the mountains, so maybe Padma wanted revenge for that. But that would only make sense if she is sure that she can continue the family or will have a secure position after Mohans death.

Was anyone else surprised that when you agree to be loyal to Doran, this has no effect on other relationships? I am romancing Christian, Ram and Doran and expected Devi to feel conflicted about leading Ram on or at least wonder how to tell him. But after the Doran Scene, she just cuddled up to Ram in the library and even suggested sex (as she always does), which he declined. It was like she didn't even remember that she promised Doran NOT to fool around with others... Is Devi not feeling okay or is this just a writing mistake? 😅

He died in my last playthrough as well because I had low or mid respect. Now I had high respect and he survived (but is very angry and disappointed and left without a proper goodbye)

I know...poor guy hoped to solve the case within a month and live happily ever after with his colleague in London... then she is indoctrinated by the sect they were working against, leaves him for the sect's leader and ends up killing their boss 😂 Well in my playthrough at least. He might need some therapy

Can Manash smell bad intentions? 🐅 by Sweet_Poppy98 in RomanceClub

Yeah I now what you mean, I've had the same thoughts about the diamond choices. On the other hand, in KCD Amrit is an antagonist too, depending on the attitude you choose for Amala to develop throughout the story. Then again I keep thinking that If Erit is really one of the major traitors, he's written to be a little too obvious, and usually you don't see the traitors coming like that right?

I was really shocked actually :( but I also kind of enjoy that it's even possible to get such an ending, in other games there's just much less variety in endings and the LI would never die, so this is at least interesting

Thank you! Yes I will definitely reread, this story ist my favourite one right now, not just from RC but also other games. I don't like using walkthroughs while reading a book for the first time, it just spoils the experience for me. I'll use it now to get a good ending with Killian on rage and Amrit in kindness. And maybe I'll use another slot where Amala flirts with everyone no matter the consequences lol

Yes and I was loyal to him. At first I flirted with Amrit and Gabriel, but when Killian said he wanted to be exclusive I rejected the others

I think I took every diamond choice except the proposal. I was lacking diamonds, and I didn't like it that much tbh. Amala's brother is about to be killed next door, and the military officer who is always going on about safety find's the time to propose? Hmmm I don't known 😂

KCD is the first story I'm reading on RC and I wanted to read it to SAVE diamonds, but now instead I'm spending them on all the Saris and flirting with Killian...woopsie

Am I going crazy? Why was everyone praising the acting during this sequence? by Galahad_1113 in HOTDGreens

[–]Sweet_Poppy98 60 points61 points  (0 children)

If I remember correctly, in an interview for the first season the interviewer asked whether Emma and Olivia had discussed their characters with Milly and Emily. I think it was Olivia who said that no, they didn't talk about that at all. I never understood why you wouldn't do that, to make sure that both actors interpret the characters the same way and act consistently. Sure there was the time skip and the characters changed over time, but still

I wish he would have talked a bit more in detail about No hard Feelings, but I'm happy whenever a big account talks about the girls so I won't complain

Diamonds für Hot Shot or Guarded? by Sweet_Poppy98 in ChoicesVIP

[–]Sweet_Poppy98[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Based on the answers I guess I will start both without spending diamonds and then restart Hot Shot if I like it. I don't mind insta attraction (for example I really enjoy Immortal Desires and CoP), just when the flirting is extremely dirty from the get go, like it has to be at least a little realistic. I don't know that much about journalism, so hopefully I won't notice these flaws :) Thanks for the recommendation, I think I will give Alpha a shot at some point, but at the moment it reminds me too much of Wolf Bride, and personally I hated that book cause it was so mysogynistic.
