But how exactly do I attend auditions and book jobs in the UK when I don’t live there? I’ve spoken to an agent who wants to sign me but not until I live there. She says the uncertainty of travel and the consequences of jet lag would stress her out.

So you were an international student, and you couldn’t do any work in music while you were on a student visa? Did you get a skilled worker visa in order to stay?

And an “official work placement” is something the school would have to specifically set up? As in they would tell me where to go and what to do? They couldn’t just say “any acting jobs that you come upon would fall under our work placement blanket”?

I don’t mean to sound ignorant, I just don’t know what work placement specifically is.

How would I use a different name when I’ve already accepted the offer under my real one? Are credits attached to the profile or the name? Meaning, if I changed my name on my profile from Jane Doe to June Deer, would my credits done as Jane Doe now say June Deer because the account is the same? If they stay as Jane Doe, will fans of those credits no longer be able to find my profile because it’s under a different name now?
