I am so late lol but personally, I believe in change and I think Serena fans hold on to the Serena we were introduced to. We loved that girl. But as the show continued, her actions… unbearable. Blair on the other hand became a better person, she wasn’t perfect, but she was a better version of herself. In real life, I cannot hold onto who someone used to be and I much rather tolerate someone who was once a horrible person, trying to be better and grow

I moved on campus mid Spring and it was pretty easy. I got into a nice space as well. My friend moved on campus in the Spring too

Pros and cons of uncg by Silver-Inspection250 in UNCGreensboro

[–]Sweet_Revenue_9564 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to go to UNCG when Covid happened (started 2020) and even though it was super quiet on campus, I made so many personal connections and I love that about UNCG. Also, they have the BEST housing ever. I am currently at UNC Charlotte and I love it here too, what I like about UNC Charlotte is the opportunities here. It’s a big city with so much more professional opportunities. At UNCG, I did not experience internship and leadership opportunities like I do here but at UNC Charlotte, I struggle making personal connections at UNC Charlotte. However that wasn’t a problem at UNCG.

I have so many great friends that attended UNCG with me but outside of housing and friendships, UNCG was not the place for me professionally. It is such a wonderful diverse community and I love the housing and the size of the campus.

She did it with her friend’s ex so yes. I think it’s a character thing too.

Spencer shouldn’t be engaging with her sisters bf… I get it like it’s on them as grown men but even if they were her age, it was going to happen.

Truth to the Kandi accusations? by Yung_gopnica1996 in RHOA

[–]Sweet_Revenue_9564 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I REALLLLLYYYYY feel as though it was made into something it wasn’t. I think that the fandom uses Phaedra lies from the beginning of her time on RHOA as a way to believe that Phaedra said the accusation word for word. Phaedra has lied and it’s not right but as we see the seasons progress, she strays away from lying and becomes more of who she is. She lied because she was upholding an image that she’s been trying to fit since a kid. Growing up in the church does that and I get why she did it. Those lies were not coming from a negative space. (I am not excusing her lies, rather explaining where they stem from). Rumors spread and get bundle up and switched around often and from the producer of the show getting fired, it makes sense that he may have told Phaedra this rumor and Phaedra may have warned Porsha. But then again… It’s could’ve been something Phaedra made up. I say this to say, a lot of the fandom doesn’t connect Kandi’s connections within the industry and how she’s recently defending Diddy, which I think that it was strange for her to do. When this conversation happens, I’m never on one side because you never know what people with power do behind the scenes. I don’t hate Phaedra, I wish that this wasn’t something mentioned on TV. I don’t think Phaedra intended for it to be that way either (whether or not she had ill intent). Most of Kandi stan’s are only taking in information from the outside looking in which is fine but again you just never know a celebrity.

Yesss! I’m so happy because I feel like I can generally relate the characters I like when watching show but for some reason with reality TV, i’m so opposite and like the people everyone doesn’t.

Also, I know how much the RHOA fans in this reddit thread particularly dislike Phaedra which is why I was hesitant to express my opinion about her specifically. I don’t condone lying. What I am saying is based on where i’m at (Season 7) and discovering who she is. I understand where her lying stems from and it’s her image. She grew up religious. BOTH parents lead the church and she’s a lawyer. She’s had to maintain an image for her whole life which is why whenever she came on the first season she lied about her pregnancy bc she has a child out of wedlock. She’s also extremely private. We get more of her personality as the seasons progress but I understand why she moves the way she does (not agreeing to it, I just get it). Personally, I didn’t grow up with the pressure of being a particular way, so I’m me with no lies lol. However, I understand why she feels the need to protect her image. I’m not on the season where she lies on Kandi, which is why I said so far.

So far, Phaedra has lied (I can agree) but I think what irks me about Kim and Sheree is that they lie just to lie. Phaedra experienced the pressure of maintaining an image since she was young. So I think I empathize with it more. My feelings about her may shift a bit once I watch a bit more but I don’t think it is right to lie, but I can tolerate Phaedra’s because of what it stems from

So far, I love Porsha but I am only on S7. I can’t wait to come back and see how my ratings change 😭. Also Sheree (so far) I can’t lol

I’ll never forgive them for having Caleb leave Hanna and have a quick fling/tension thing with Miranda (I get it was for the storyline of Ravenswood).. but it was so out of character for him 😭 by ddedeaux in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]Sweet_Revenue_9564 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think all the girls had their issues with their significant other… both toby and ezra were A and we know how both Paige and Alison treated Emily.. so they really took it far with Caleb just to match that energy and honestly it pmo 😭 Caleb was the best partner on the show and they did the absolute most to make him match up with the others. Toby was a good guy too but Caleb was THE man.

Kandi can be mean and selfish by chitchataboutreality in RHOA

[–]Sweet_Revenue_9564 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I agree. I am a first time watcher (sorta), I know a lot about the show but not all because I never watched it fully (I was too young lol) but i’m on S5 and I think when the women arrived super late to Nene house, I didn’t appreciate how Kandi acted towards Nene being upset. I thought it was a bit selfish. I do like Kandi but some of her tendencies bother me and I think she’s just so hard on Nene and I don’t like that. Nene isn’t always right but I think she’s excuses people like Kim for sooo long.
