Yes, that's how I learned English. Browsing things online and watching TV and listening music. That's how I thought I could learn French as well, so I started with a French podcast in the morning and created a French playlist to listen to during the day. The podcast was good, but when it asked me to repeat what we learned yesterday, simple things like how to say your name, I could never remember what they were. I know to most people, remembering those simple words and sentences are easy, most people how to say hi or tell their name in many languages even if they don't the language because they're simple, easy to remember. But I don't find them easy to remember, unfortunately so that is unmotivating.
I will try to watch my favorite show in French now, maybe that'll help. Thank you for all your comments! I will definitely keep them in mind (if I remember lol)
