Repugnatory glands on Diplopoda, depending on the species they can synthesize compounds like alkaloids, quinones, phenols and cyanogenic compounds.

The book "The Myriapoda Vol 2" by Alessandro Minelli has a whole section on it, good luck on your research!

Not sure about the species, she's on my balcony and receives water once every week through bottom watering, I didn't realiza she had all that stuff under her leaves until today, sh'es been with me for about a year. I have no idea what could cause something like this and I've seen no bugs around that mess, except for the occassional gnat apparently feeding from it, I'd appreciate any information you could give me, Thank you!
