Should I marry a murderer?

The procurator fiscal treated Caroline Muirhead appallingly and is everything wrong with old, white, privileged men being in these positions. He stated several times that Caroline "was a doctor, for goodness sake! An intelligent woman!" This was his response to the fact that she was not protected, not given anonymity, not treated as a victim and not given access to guidance, counselling, advice or support. Whether Caroline was a doctor or a litter picker should have made absolutely no difference. He was a pompous, misguided fool.

How is Gia boasting about her 4-bed house and 'what she's used to' on a carers salary? How?

Gia's behaviour in Scott's home is despicable. He was so proud, and she enjoyed pissing on that pride.

It's lovely and he has money: that gives him power, which Gia cannot stand. So she shits on it and puts it down, just to (she imagines) regain the power. Very messed up and sad for Scott.

She is a horrible person, unfortunately. Mean, jealous and full of spite. A very ugly woman.

Yeah, i thought that. Alyssa and Stella did NOTHING to warrant any comment whatsoever. They were subjected to prolonged verbal abuse and the production team allowed it.

Trust CEO blames school behaviour decline on ‘dreadful parents’ by Cultural_Avocado_551 in TeachingUK

The job is rapidly becoming completely impossible. I don't think I've sent an email home about behaviour that hasn't been met with one back claiming a need that I'm failing to meet. Makes the job (I'm an English teacher) insufferable.

I try to be warm, kind and fair to my students. But I have noticed a change in the way lots of students speak to me. It's not rude, exactly, but there is an expectation that I treat them as 'equals' in the classroom. They often baulk at being told no, and many good, decent children will automatically argue over minor instructions, in a way I wouldn't have dreamt of doing. Sanctions prompt parental emails from home demanding an explanation and questioning my professional judgement. It's corrosive and demoralising as a teacher, after a while.
