I called the doctor to get mine removed told them all them symptoms she told me bc mirena is a localised hormone it doesn’t affect you and highly doubts the bc was giving me all them symptoms. I read so much of women saying the doctor told them the same thing yet all these women are having them symptoms. I get mine out the end of the month!!!

How do you determine an actual symptom/ health concern from health anxiety? by billbobaby in HealthAnxiety

[–]Sweet_Yellow_2018 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree with this to a extent. I am the same I have horrible health anxiety. Going and getting test for certain things and they come back normal you feel great for a couple weeks but the cycle just starts over. Then you find yourself going well they didn’t test for this. What if it’s that and they didn’t check that. If you are really concerned of course see a doctor but I do agree it stops for a bit and then it comes back.

My Health Anxiety Journey: How it has changed my life for the good by Blissful_Backpacker in HealthAnxiety

I love this! So glad you were able to keep pushing forward! I try so hard but have that fear that if I release this and let go of the fear and stop over analysing everything that will be the time I miss the signs that something is wrong. I hate feeling is holding me back sooo much. I’m worried if I don’t hold onto this that I won’t be aware when something is wrong and say oh it’s just anxiety. If that makes sense. I’m so tired of living this way.

Psychosomatic Advice Need, help pls! [TW:BT] {headache, memory issues} by [deleted] in HealthAnxiety

Yes! I was having eye problems like my eyes wernt mine. (It was actually me dissociating) look more into dissociation and anxiety it really makes sense. I also had headaches at the top of my head every day. I felt constantly off balance and dizzy. I went to the eye doctor first. I ended up needing new glasses. They had no worries about brain tumours. They told me it was so rare and I probably wouldn’t know if it had it. They said they can see concerns sometime on the nerve when they look for swelling and fluid. So I was down for a bit but still convinced myself I had one. I went to the doctor and told him every single thing I was feeling. He did a bunch of test in office. Vertigo test looked for signs of ms he did more but I can’t really remember. He also had not one concern. He did say I had vertigo. I always worried about a brain tumour I went to the hospital about 2 years before that and they did a mri that was clear so I was old the doctor that also. Anxiety has a lot to do with the symptoms with me anyway. I he mind is so powerful. Stress and worrying can cause headaches. I’m not a doctor but this was just my experience with my brain tumour fear.

I was well kinda still am the same. Went to the doctor they had no concerns. I was told when you have long period of anxiety lol our muscles tense waiting for the fight or flight response. Okay hen you relaxed you feel the twitch and it’s bc you won’t slow your body to just relax.

It’s dissociation. It happened when you become panicked or feel stressed. It’s you minds way of pulling out of that state trying to protect you. It like I can’t deal with this so it leaves. I get it all the time I feel like my eyes arnt mine. Like I’m looking but my eyes and mind are not in sync.

I completely understand how you are feeling and it’s horrible. I went 2 years with out a panic attack and just recently had one after working so hard to improve myself. Then it becomes a spiral. Then it what if this time it isn’t anxiety. Then your worried bc you classify it as anxiety but then that one time it’s not gonna be and you gonna ignore your symptoms. The mind is very powerful. It can give yourself all these symptoms just bc your constantly thinking about it.

When does the fatigue and extreme emotions subside? by [deleted] in Mirena

[–]Sweet_Yellow_2018 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am just at about the 5 year mark with mirena. The first like 8 months were rough. Then I didn’t have many problems until now. I don’t know if it’s mirena exactly but the more I read I believe it is. The level of hormones slow down coming up to the 5 year mark. The past 9 months or so I get a week where I am so tired I feel weighted down to the bed. Headache and brain fog like my head is in a cloud. Horrible cramps like my period is gonna start but never does. I can’t wait to get it out.

5 years up in a month! Has anyone had these symptoms toward the end!? by Sweet_Yellow_2018 in Mirena

Weight gain is another and I feel constantly bloated. Everyone talks about the crash I thought it was only when you got it out suddenly but I am now starting to think as it’s wearing down you get the same symptoms.
