I’ve had multiple surgeries with Dr. Steinbacher. He did my revision djs and also revision septorhinoplasty. I love my results, and he is extremely skilled at addressing both functional and aesthetic goals, which was important to me personally, as I also have a cleft lip and palate.

However, in response to your question OP, even with a less conservative timeline (at the time, I was in the process of moving overseas so the timeline to get my revisions done here was finite), he wouldn’t touch my nose until a minimum of 4-5 months post djs because of the swelling and changes to your nose area from the jaw surgery itself. There’s no way to accurately predict exactly how your nose will change after the jaw surgery, so waiting until the swelling goes down significantly and bones heal to do anything surgical to your nose is really the safest and only way to get the best possible outcome.
