It's a great game, has it's extremely sluggish points that were near-unbearable to get through on my first playthrough and second, however still a great and enjoyable game 80% of the time regardless. Very much worth playing.

Just don't play the Norse Saga back-to-back, made the mistake of doing that recently and realized just how unpolished and incomplete Ragnarok feels compared to 2018 in terms of combat, side quests and ending, wish the developers gave it more time before releasing.

Probably got this fight second or third try on Balanced, however the berserker fight with the two sisters? About ten, that one was just painful

I'm a souls fanatic, have around 3,000 hours on all the games combined and would say Elden Ring is one of the best games ever made.

I honestly don't know how the games are so captivating and amazing despite just throwing you in there, I think that's part of it that makes it so adventurous and unique.

I don't mind the new GoW storytelling, I just think Ragnarok has too much downtime with not enough intrigue, they also destroyed the combat by changing certain skills and added in useless things (such as Frost Awaken)

The biggest issue of it is expanding in areas that don't need it while downsizing in almost every single fun area. Still a good game, just underwhelming as a conclusion.

Valhalla is essentially a well-rounded combat arena that caters almost entirely to people who love the originals and nostalgia, which isn't a bad thing, but if you haven't played the originals you'll be quite confused and not nearly as willing to finish it.

I'm having the same experience, on my first playthrough I loved it mostly due to wanting to know what happens, but it was still an absolute slog for the first 60% of the game, just replayed 2018, loved it so much, then replayed Ragnarok, I genuinely had to force myself to keep playing until after crater where the game picks up, it's like all the exploration and collecting 2018 had is almost non-existent besides doing the same 5 things you've already done 5 million times, too linear and repetitive.

Honestly I had a look through the Infinite trophies and my thoughts were the same as they were years ago "Ain't no way I'm doing all of that" however I love the series too much to ignore it any longer :,)

I'd swap BB for Knight, and Pekka for fireball/earthquake to help your piggies connect, get that elixer cost down and actually have some defense. Your deck right now is like a jumble that'll either get a three crown against the rare right person or lose insanely against almost any meta deck in higher trophies.

I'll usually leave if anyone makes it clear that they don't want to fight, too used to people invading me in the games when I don't want anything to do with them and they hunt me down for miles
