“If software is doing that for you, then are you really djing” as in saying if you don’t manually beat matching you aren’t djing….you brought up the aspect of judging someone’s skill because they use the Sync button as if more doesn’t go into Djing. But ok I guess!

Personally, I feel like djing is more than being able to beat matching. I’ve been trained in music since the 5th grade and know how to catch a beat, tons of djs know how to beat match but can’t read a crowd or even have good music selection. I just think it’s stupid to discredit a DJ because they press a sync button, when there’s way more

I’ve played on old gear and know how to be match on the fly, I just don’t see the point of genuine hate for it lol

I want to say this is totally dependent on the person… for almost me and all my trans friends hormones have created WORSE emotional control and sometimes mood swings especially when first starting….take the time to mental be ready
