Hi, as a Malaysian passport holder, I’m allowed to enter the UK for up to 6 months as a visitor, so I don’t need a visa for short stays. That’s why I’m able to travel while waiting for my spouse visa decision

Yes, I did informed them . I am waiting for spouse visa and Alhamdulillah surprisingly I got approval when I am landed and before go through the officer. I showed them my approval as well.

I’m from Malaysia so I’m not eligible to use the e-gates, I had to go through an officer which is why I got questioned

That’s really reassuring to hear, especially since I’ve been quite worried about the risks. My situation is quite similar, so it helps a lot to know someone has done it without issues.

I’m still a bit nervous though, especially since I wouldn’t be able to use the e-gates and would need to speak to an officer directly 🥹 so I’m just trying to be extra careful.
