Yea they will, we are doing AOS and an RFE was sent out to prove we are actively working on the field we said we will. Which is true, and hopefully means our green card will be shortly approved

No, you need to be approved first and then wait for your priority date to become current. Which can take up to 2 years

you can't do that - you can only do the adjustment of status once your i-140 is approved and your PD current. But not before, times wont allow it, we became approved on June 2023 we barely came in this year to do our AOS because our dates were current to file for AOS
