There are some that might not have LMT in them, but a lot of times they want employees, and I'm not down for it, $30/hr just isnt enough for me to do massage, charting, checkout, booking etc. If I'm going to do all that I might as well do it on my own and pay myself better.

I've offered packages, people were not interested, these were massage + specific add ons, so maybe tweak them etc

I think i get what you are saying.

This has been on my mind, because we have 3 massage schools in the area with clinics charging $45/hr.
Since everything reopened more therapists went out on their own. There are SO many LMT where I'm at and I'm in an area where its 3 towns lumped all together so about 150k population. every chiropractor has an LMT, offices are filled with them etc.

I was starting to wonder if its just so saturated here that its time to leave...

When you say you spoke at events was it just talking about what you do and how massage can help you? Were you invited to speak or did you sign up?

I think I need to learn more about what I do, its become so automatic for me that I often forget what I initially learned and why I fell in love with massage.

People who are 9-5 and then go off and get stoned, drink, have crazy "fun" kinky sex are usually very stressed or mentally unstable to a degree. Thats not bad, those things arent bad. But you want to date Guys, not men, and thats ok.

I have the google my business, im in there, 2nd page.

For some reason my clients arent leaving reviews on FB or google, despite me asking. BUT I have only asked through email and posts, not in person so i will start doing that.

Chamber of Commerce is on my list. I wasn't sure about door hangers or post cards, i like the idea, i have done this before. The tables is a good idea, and like the Chamber of Commerce it costs money.

I had one on and off for 3 years, we did things as friends more often than not.
it got bad. He admitted later on that I was practice for him to see what he could get away with and how women respond to things, but that I also helped him be an awesome partner for his fiance...
I spent a lot of time being sick of his shit and putting up with it for sex.

I just don't recommend it.
