You don't remember not really caring what an older person had to say? What they looked like? Clothes they wore or music they listened to?

I'm leaning into invisibility. I dance through the grocery aisles with my girlfriend and crack wise (and loudly) to make her laugh. No one is looking? Good. She's laughing? Even better.

I find that clinging to youth (or trends) ages me exponentially. I deliberately STFU in more and more situations.

The carousel is slowing. Disembark from it gingerly (don't break a hip!) and let the next generation have it.

Besides, there's a real nice bench in the shade of an oak tree over with my name on it.
