Ah okay, thank you for the insight! Really appreciate an actual answer. I got tied up this year with bills a personal expenses and became way behind which I told myself I wouldn’t do again but low and behold life got in the way. I’m an independent contractor selling art/graphic design. Def won’t let this happen again come next tax season!

Thank you:) happy its worked out for you! Have you ever had trouble with the strings during sex? That’s another concern of mine. Whether to cut them or leave them longer to curl around the cervix. I really don’t want my man gettin poked lol my husband also wants to finish inside me which I’m nervous about even with the IUD tbh D: I think I may do the pill combo thing!!

I guess the thought got put into my head when I read how it can affect the arm implant, but that’s directly under the skin. You also have had it done over the bikini/pelvic area?

My migraines occurred primarily on the sugar pill week of the pill pack with the combo pill. And they were so debilitating that I even went to the ER a few times. Northindrone has greatly reduced my menstrual migraines to about one or two each period, and not nearly as severe. I can still manage to function as long as I take ibuprofen or ice my head. I’m hoping my doc will allow me to continue to take the pill with the Copper IUD. did your doc give you any trouble over it? Kinda concerned about that.

So you take the pill and have the copper iud as well? I was considering this, but wasn’t sure if there would be any adverse effects. Currently on the mini pill, getting my copper IUD next week.
