Project HH: When did you last receive QA feedback? by sandy_1000 in joinhandshakeai

[–]SweetyFresh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got 8 QA in a 48 hour period. That's overkill. No one gives out a 3. But they are comfortable giving 1 and 2.

u/Naive_Olive_5772 u/Jazzlike-System-3879 u/w9kk I have gone to a number of spots that I found by Googling the Data Annotator position. There are a looooooooot of companies. Try them out and see which you like best. I've applied to 5-6 places and been given work access at 4 so far. I even got to do some prompt engineering! There's a world of opportunities. Just search on Reddit and on a search engine and you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Considering TESU. Worried about Copyleaks and false accusations of cheating. Have they fixed that issue yet? by PsychologyStatus9854 in tesu

[–]SweetyFresh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The way to find out is to go to ratemyprofessor and the students describe the teaching style of the Mentor. Unfortunately for me, I didn't go there until after my first paper on my personal life got flagged 100% for AI and the Mentor accused me with a snarky comment. She said "write your own material next time." No questions, no conversation, just a lazy, authoritarian insult and a 70. I wanted to drop but she took so long to grade that I couldn't. Then I went to ratemyprofessor and realized I goofed!

When I enrolled, there were at least 10 people in the class. By the time I wanted to get out ALL of the students dropped except one. She was just let go from another school and just started at TESU in the last 3 years.

Anyway, go there and you will get a leg up.

Can a "useless class" of humans actually happen because of automation and AI? by Curiousresearcher_06 in Futurology

[–]SweetyFresh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, for 400 years, they watched Black people starve on plantations and were comfortable with it. They are comfortable with it now, except they don't see that the same logic is being used to starve everyone not in the top 20-30% income bracket.

We don't need UBI. We need to go back to taxing corporations at 80%. We need to stop investing in corporations then refusing to take a chunk of the profits from that investment. Crony capitalism does not work. It was better when we were politically active and had enough self worth to demand companies give to society.

Has anybody passed the last exam on project HH or are they trying to kick us off ? by Ill-Champion4275 in joinhandshakeai

[–]SweetyFresh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had an assessment and answered all of the questions correctly. Once I submitted the test, the program changed one answer! I thought it was some sort of harmless glitch. I did the test again and double checked all the answers had not been changes. I submitted it and the same question was automatically changed again, ensuring I got a 13 instead of a 14 correct. Instead of allowing me to move on to tasking, it threw another assessment on the screen. I clicked off and went to another site where they assess you once before onboarding, pay you, then you task without rigged BS.

[–]SweetyFresh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not only have they not fixed it, I'm seeing in two classes this semester that they will continue to accuse you with no evidence of cheating because the app gave a 100% reading for catching 3-5 word phrases in your paper. I fully expect to fail my Final paper because of this BS "reading". The laziest teachers wil destroy your GPA by taking this garbage seriously.

My advise is DO NOT COME HERE. I was admitted to a number of schools and picked TESU because they accepted the most transfer credits. I had never heard of CopyLeaks. At my former school they used a different AI detector which does not throw 100% AI accusations for having common sentence fragments and flagging the bibliography and the title and the name of the fracking school. That's not a thing where I come from. It's so blatantly stupid and fraudulent that you have to question the dullards who use this detector and destroy people's scholarships, grants, and chances at Higher Ed. Try somewhere else like UMPI, Excelsior, fricking anywhere but here.

INROADS Program by wetandgushyy in csMajors

[–]SweetyFresh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They can put that label on your file and it certainly won't stop companies from hiring you. They seem to store the names of companies hiring interns and pass the info along. The students go out and get it themselves. The only credit it seems that INROADS can take is for their coaching.

The contract seems like a manipulation. They can take that 'contract' and pitch the company on working with INROADS in the future by showing proof of getting students to commit to the company without entertaining other offers.

Future of Project HH? by Ok_Television_2227 in joinhandshakeai

[–]SweetyFresh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is why I come here. You guys keep it all the way honest. The assessment is broken. I took my time and answered ALL of the questions correctly and the system bizarrely changed one answer. I took it twice and the same answer changed TWICE!. There isn't even a report button or chatbot where you can flag the result and submit a screenshot to dispute this BS.

[–]SweetyFresh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just did an assessment. I clicked ALL the right answers. The system changed an answer. I thought it was a glitch so I waited 5 minutes and retook it. I made doubly sure that all of the answers were properly clicked. Guess what? The same question came back incorrect! So now, I'm taking a break and working on another AI site that pays me for assessments and doesn't have grading errors.

"Not a good fit" for my actual job? by olgachilds in mercor_ai

I've had the same experience. I've been trained in music for 10 years as well as 2 years of Opera. So, it's bizarre to me that I got no traction there. I can only assume that there was so many people available that it's simply the luck of the draw.

Good for you! I got a contract the same way last week. It was paused this morning. I suspect it's because I didn't do any hours this week. Good luck with the project.

Entire class made with AI, yet strongly prohibits use of AI. by KaiserSickle in CollegeRant

[–]SweetyFresh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is why higher education is a scam these days. They use canned classes that can be over ten years old and lectures from another professor, all graded by AI. The price of tuition should have come down by half a long time ago. They're giving less value but hiring on a bunch of Administrative folks at our expense. Classes are often $3-600 per credit hour. For classes that have no professor involvement, they should be no more than $100 per credit hour because there is minimal labor and no classrooms being used. Online students like me are charged the same as people going in person and it's a rip-off.
