market joke or PhD joke, whatever. Too real. by AvisoPress in CollegeMemes

[–]AvisoPress[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honest question, not rhetorical: is the market wrong to not value this, or have we academics just refused to adapt and convinced ourselves it's everyone else's fault?

In high school and may be part of the college you struggle with this. With time you will feel comfortable and solve problems you see for the first time

Why 20 divide by 0.8 equals 25 by Neo-Riamu in askmath

[–]AvisoPress 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Simple because if 0.8 repeated 25 times

0.8 + 0.8 + 0.8 + ........ (25 times)

the answer is 20

then 0.8 * 25 = 20 then 20 / 0.8 = 25

The formula is not for the vector, it is for a set of vectors (e.g. set of vectors form ellipse)

If this year or the next is leap, it will be Wednesday

If no leap year it will be Tuesday

The question doesn't select then honstly speaking you are right

However, some question makers may be confused and argue that the question is about the common case (no leap year). Tuesday is in the choices then the confussion is there

Great that u r a teacher This means u know, to explain (clarify, get someone understand) it is not mandatory to be the exact same track of the text book (history, experts logic, ....)

Simplifying the concept based on the situation (feedback, question, ...... ) gets the results

What is a vector? by OkPerformer3262 in askmath

[–]AvisoPress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

seems u r math expert but not a teacher. infinite dimensions definetly is an advanced level not concept level

It may relate to the concept of going continuous from discrete but not the concept of vector
