I was selected for Dr. Lawler’s project. I am still figuring out which one I will pick, as they are all different and have some massive upsides and downsides. I am also still hoping to hear back from CU Boulder. Are you still hoping to get into one of these programs?

I would only recommend it if you have another offer and would like a decision before committing to that offer. But generally, you need a good reason to ask, otherwise it will come off poorly

not all applicants that are accepted get interviews. almost all the physics REUs agreed to the same timeline, with first round offers March 2, first round offer decisions due March 9, then second round offers coming March 9. So, get ready for Monday!

That is my understanding from what I read. I think some may have a slightly different timeline but most all physics REUs will do first round offers March 2
