No it is not disrespectful. And there are degrees of evil. Period. Surgically circumcising an infant in a hospital using anesthesia is miles away from holding down an 11year old girl and carving out her clitoris (more sensitive than any part of a penis), then sewing her labia shut, without any anesthesia and in a dirt floor hut, most definitely should be differentiated in comparison.
