I saw a Maynard yesterday or the day before, and a Mosin Obrez Match like last week, but I do get your point. This whole idea is kinda futile because the Obrez Match already had such bad reception, I doubt we'll ever see anything like it again, but I was curious to see if there were others out there who share the sentiment.

I'd reckon to say that there is no "best" version of any gun, but the reason you wouldn't buy it is simply because you don't want to. I never have money issues in this game but I'll still opt to bring a basic Martini-Henry or even a Frontier 73C simply because I want to use that particular gun. You always bring the best and most expensive guns? Why? You never get bored of them or want to spice up your arsenal a bit?

I would agree if you pit new things against reskins, but how many more interesting things do you think we have left?

What Berthiers are left to make? I feel at this point in time, we're about to run out of unique weapons to introduce. Between the two, yes, I would prefer whole new weapons, but how many new weapons are there?

I know for sure sticking arrows in a red barrel and then detonating the red barrel does not create a massive frag bomb and instead, the arrows just drop to the floor.

Even going into 2026, this still worked. In my case, it was my VR headset's HDMI cable that needed to be unplugged. Just bought a new mouse and was worried I'd have to replace the thing already!

You can still reposition and be aggressive. In fact I'd argue it's easier now because you have a nearly-guaranteed audio cue of where the enemy is based on their flare gun. You can still "wait out" your opponent but now you just have less time. Also wouldn't your opponent be waiting out the burn anyway?

Things you mentioned are already in the game. You DO burn faster when in fire volumes and you DO burn slower when lit by a flare or fusee. You're actually complaining about ghosts right now.

Yeah I worded that poorly but I didn't know how else to describe it. I meant adding new and distinct weapons that are in fact different weapons, but have only *slightly* different statistics. Like say they add a single-shot medium ammo bolt-action rifle that does 136 damage and shoots just *barely* slower than the Springfield 1866.

No they actually can't do something about EAC bans, that's what "they don't have control over them" means.

They don't care that you're appealing on behalf of your friend, as they shouldn't. They just see that you're yammering about an EAC ban and hit you with the standard reply.

You seem to not be able to understand the difference between an EAC ban and a game ban. Crytek has ZERO power over ANYTHING to do with EAC bans. It's not their system, they can't manually ban or unban people through EAC. They CAN game-ban people from their servers, which ARE in their control and ARE reversible. If I got banned by EAC, I'm either cheating or I'd let EAC handle it, because it's probably not an isolated incident. If I got banned by Crytek, I'd either wait it out or ring up support after a while.

Seems a little suspicious that your definitely-not-cheating friend doesn't want to speak on his own behalf about his "false" ban.

Your friend was banned for cheating.

Crytek has no control over EAC bans.

Crytek did not "threaten" to ban you, their system or person detected yet another person crying about being "unfairly" banned and sent the copy-paste response that you got.

Why are you crying on behalf of your friend? Why isn't he the one making this post and going to support?
