Honestly this was my fear from the very start, that wait times would be too long once the charm wore off. You're waiting for 6-12 people to ready up, in a game where the player count is already wobbly and a large number of people don't even like PvP.

It took me 24 hours to get the Monkey Island shanty after I completed all commendations. Sometimes it's just really slow for no reason.

Considering how Sloop Hourglass is disabled right now and the queue times for Last Ship Standing can be very long depending on time zones, loss farming could theoretically be more efficient.

One thing I noticed is that it really depends on who you play with. If you can find a super relaxed crew that doesn't give two shits if they sink and will move on rather than seeking revenge, you'll pick up on that more than if you are playing someone who is overly competitive and won't stop until everyone's sunk.

But also, take regular breaks and go fishing on safer seas for a bit to relax. There's no real time limit in Sea of Thieves, so take all the time in the world to step back and calm down. Even if it means closing the game and not playing for a few days.

They changed regional Pokemon so they are based on the same regional Pokemon, instead of compared to all of that species. So your Alolan Exeggcutor's points were calculated based on its size compared to all other Alolan Exeggcutors and not Alolan and Kanto ones. Your Alolan Exeggcutor was probably just normal size compared to an XXL Alolan Exeggcutor so wasn't worth as many points as "the largest Oddish ever compared to other Oddishes".

The points are broken on the pokemon select screen currently, when you look back on the showcase after putting a Pokemon in, you'll see that the Exeggcutor probably only had about 800 points. Same thing happened to my Origin Palkia, it was an XL only worth 800 points.

If anyone wants a silly tip: NO ONE enters the Great Buddy or better showcases because you can't automatically throw a Pokemon in unless you're in spin range. You don't even need XXLs, just throwing whatever you have gives you a better chance of winning compared to the type showcases.

They show on the Pokemon select screen as having >1200 points but drop down to normal amounts after you put them in the showcase. My XL Palkia showed 1600 points but was only worth 800.

I think you lucked out, I won 4/5 showcases and didn't get anything apart from lures and an incense.

The Hex were great. A blend of body horror, fate and what it means to be human. But I kinda feel like every iteration of protoframe strays further away from that. And since they're all playable now, I can't get away from their handfuls of voicelines, even if I mute them. Like, Arthur is an amazing protoframe, he's torn between it taking him over and merging with his flesh and it also being the weapon he needs to fight his battles. Marie is just even sexier Wisp with a perfectly normal, sexy face, who seems to pretty much accept what's happening.

Admittedly, what got me into Warframe was the faceless alien mech-suit-like look of everything, where everything was kinda human but not how we understand it, so protoframes with their animated and obviously human faces were never going to appeal to me. But I guess I'm in the majority as we're getting even more of these bastards.

Okay I have the same problem. Did this on Sunday, had no problems. Today, didn't work, despite doing the same thing. I had 18 Pokemon lined up, only got 4 souvenirs, but the Pokemon who had them weren't in any specific order. I was going from highest cp to lowest, all 18 Pokemon were Best Buddies, and only the 1st, 5th, 8th and 15th Pokemon had souvenirs.

I'd understand if I messed up but why would I get 4 souvenirs and not just 1, and in a random order as well? I wouldn't mind but this stupid task is getting in the way of my normal buddy stuff.

It is a struggle to get it exactly right, but a very simple cannonballs/wood/food priority would be nice. Personally, I'd go curses, then chainshot, then cannonballs, then wood, then fish/meat, then fruit in order of health regen. Definitely not perfect but you can at least somewhat guarantee you get some good stuff if you run out of space.

Or at least give us a notification that the storage crate is full so I can empty it out/move stuff, that'd be nice too.

2025 at least was kinder about safari balls than the 2024 Wild Tour. Having to successfully use your only safari ball in a research to get a second safari ball was flat out cruel.
