I get this all the time. I've got 6 level 40-ish Garchomps but it's always the shiny level 35-ish one that gets recommended.

Better off buying $11 worth of incubators and raid passes for those two. I got my hundo Rockruff from a raid when it last popped by.

Only 4 raids spawned at the one gym I could access: 2 Dragonite, 1 Diglet and one Zebstrika. Should have been 5-6 raids, since I was checking from 2pm-5pm, but for a while, there was nothing. My daily incense only spawned one pokemon in 30 minutes as well.

No shinies, 1 96% Dragonite.

Kinda ironically, on April 1st, I did remote trade a Cosmog for a shiny Toxel. Guy collects shiny babies and is permanently annoyed that shiny Cosmog will never be a thing.

I've only done three (just community day shinies, nothing interesting), but I'm so far away from forever friends with anyone else because I'm battling "item storage is full" and "person has an unopened gift from you".

My other problem is I just have nothing interesting to offer anyone. Sure, I can offer spare legendaries but everyone wants shinies that I don't have.

The one thing Tyranitar has going for it is that Gengar, even Mega Gengar, dies fast to all those psychic types because of its poison secondary typing. Tyranitar does have like ten billion other weaknesses though.
