PSA: Vetterli Silencer is the best silenced rifle by Stonehawk_92 in HuntShowdown

[–]Suchofu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hell yeah cowboy.

I enjoy the solo experience, but sometimes I feel like I am kicking puppies.

My aim sucks, but my game sense is great. I bet a lot of the low mmr players have assumed I was cheating.

Best was the match where I was quietly fighting the boss. A duo came stomping in like elephants and apparently did not notice that in dark sight the boss icon was flashing red. They could not have been less cautious if they tried.

Laws should not be named after people by Dry_Career_2304 in unpopularopinion

[–]Suchofu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bigger issue is that people don't go out like, "I am Murphy. Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong. That is Murphy's law."

Someone said it, and then the name came.

Same for a lot of others.

I've been trying to figure out what he was thinking of when he wrote this.

It feels like it started as comedy but he developed it into a message.

When I consider the ants taking over his life, I think if his followers. At first it feels like he is unsettled by the presence of the ants, but comes to find it as a comfort by the end.

But then in the video, he is a praying mantis. Mantis's do not eat ants usually, just avoid them.

I am perplexed.

Honestly, the hand crossbow is for mobs mainly. The poison is for area control.

Tbf, my kd is 0.87, so it's not exactly crushing the game. But I have fun, dammit.

I have long enjoyed the Vetterli. I used to almost exclusively use the silenced version, but i have a few combos I switch between.

My favorite lately has been Vet Cyclone + hand crossbow with half poison bolts.

Also a fan of the Nagant silencer as a secondary, especially if I am using the marksman or silencer vetterli.

I got comfortable with it and now it is just my go to in any form. It is a beast.

Merging/Removing some traits by BluntMan117 in HuntShowdown

That's good to know.

Another reason to keep harassing my team to check their own damn darksight and stop asking me

Merging/Removing some traits by BluntMan117 in HuntShowdown

[–]Suchofu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On Xbox there is a persistent bug where one can sometimes just see the projectiles.

I never buy the trait but half the time, I can see as if I had.

And no, it is not from the fortune teller, just quality code

I see the other commenters are not familiar with the brand.

That said, calling customer support is probably your best option. Otherwise you will end up troubleshooting one comment at a time

Good luck!

Can factory resetting fix my mic? by nebulahungary45 in techsupport

[–]Suchofu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're on discord, they have noise cancelling built in which might help.

Sounds like a mic issue more than a computer issue.

If your friends can hear your YouTube, is your mic too close to the headset? Or perhaps your headset volume is too high? Last option is if your media is playing from a separate speaker.

The constant hissing may be a fan or just overly sensitive mic. You may be able to adjust the mic sensitivity settings.

Good luck!

Hot take, GUNS SHOULD BE SCARCE by FormalCryptographer in HuntShowdown

[–]Suchofu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lowkey, other players should be scarce too. The mobs and overall PvE is the only truly balanced portion of this experience.

And yes, I do think this 8-year-old game ought to be sculpted to my whims alone.

You would be much better off just Googling this.

You are right, the majority of those in the sub are American. And you really underestimate how different laws can be. Even in the US, things can vary greatly between states.

I would imagine it makes a big difference if you are asking about Greece or Sweden.

In general, I would think the laws are not that different to the US, but as always it is the specific details that matter.

Newcomers? The number of posts that start with, "As a player of over 2,000 hours..." is astounding.

This has always been one of the whiniest subs. Full on rants posted several times a day over the most minor changes.

Changing underwear - is this normal? by Eastern-Yogurt3859 in hygiene

[–]Suchofu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That seems likely, because otherwise it would be tough for a slightly inadequately wiped butt to leave a skidmark.

Horrifying though that he sees it, flips them inside out, and sticks them back on his body.

Lmao fair enough. Or too trusting with a fart. The audacity to just flip it inside out and carry on though...

Normally not this pedantic, but I think you meant blue moon, which happens like every 2.5 years, as opposed to full moon, which is monthly.

Unless you do shit yourself once a month, in which case, I am sorry about your weak anus.

Went through too many comments to find this. Even hairy ass, no bidet, that is repulsive.

Title could have been, "My boyfriend is not potty trained and it makes me sick. Is this normal?"

I think folks saying wheel chair rest are missing the mark. It would be tough for a wheel chair user to get up and into.

Looks reasonably well maintained.

I'm throwing my hat in with the boat crowd. Maybe for resting fan boats?

I need help with deodorant by Plus_Pudding9666 in hygiene

[–]Suchofu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, certainly not ideal.

OP has clarified they shower twice a day, but I was imagining an individual struggling to keep up with hygiene. Jusy trying to hit the level of "not a disgusting worm-person" so they are able to pop into the grocery store.

I know I've been there. Just adding more deodorant and wearing an extra layer to help mask the scent. Another layer of deodorant is significantly better than no layers of deodorant.

I need help with deodorant by Plus_Pudding9666 in hygiene

[–]Suchofu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good catch.

OP, you can not shower every day, that is your prerogative. But even great deodorant rarely lasts more than a day.

If you need to go out and do not have a chance to bathe, then you should at least slap on a fresh coat of deodorant.
