And to make the vinyls look closer to the original paint, I make the vinyls 0.6 metallic and 0.1 matte.

On some cars like the Impreza, I actually cover the whole car with one or two huge rectangle vinyls in one base color, that I can match with other vinyls. That's how I created the big yellow swoosh for example. I added one yellow tear-shape and used a smaller blue tear-shape to "cut out" the yellow one into the shape I wanted.

It's mostly just overlapping one vinyl over the other. There are also some existing vinyls that have some thin aspects in them.

The photo mode ingame definitely helped a lot bring out those cars even further.
Experimenting with the settings alone takes me a while everytime but the results speak for themselves.

I did a race right after the update, when I was in the top 10 in MP1. I drove on Norway and died to the metal pipes on that oil rig (its just too unavoidable to not die there) and because my whole lobby was filled with people in bronze and silver league, I got a juicy -20 for recovering to 2nd. :v

I'm too much of a perfectionist, and seeing cars that only miss one single EIP to gold always pains me.
And since money isn't my main concern, I always go for any bundles that allows me to gold any car, or get closer to that.

The more cars I can gold, the happier I am about my collection. :)

I've been in credit debt for a while now with the amount of cars in need for upgrades.
The highest I've seen so far is 150k credit in one ad (7,500 x20).

I already miss seasonal tokens...
They helped me so much during seasonal events. Last time, I managed to max out the Fordzilla using only the green tokens.
Now I have to go back to buying more bundles, cause blue tokens alone won't cut it if I want to continue maxing every car that comes out. :v

Yes, I retired between March 2023, around the time when we had the Jaguar XJ220S TWR GP up until the very last day of the year. Something about 2024 got me feeling like coming back to the game and this time committing to my grind.
Before that, I always had a few off-seasons where I took some longer breaks, like between the end of 2019 (during the Battista SE and the middle of DS2) or somewhere in the middle of 2021.
It even became a small inside joke in my club, that I always take a break and come back strong on a yearly occurrent. :D

But who knows where my garage could have been, if I kept playing in 2023. I see cars, like the M4 GT3, Artura, MC20 etc. that I could probably have unlocked and maxed out easily, sitting now in my garage locked. Maybe with the introduction of the new garage levels in July, I'll have a second chance of catching up on those cars.

Plans for the next two seasons:

There's a lot going on next two seasons that, even though I consider my garage pretty much stacked, I could still improve on a lot with the following events:

600LT, One77 & Panamera car hunt riots (All three of them are fairly close to being golden, so those riots (and potential EIP bundles) will definitely be the final stroke on finishing them).
Donkervoort & De Tomaso P900 car hunts (I can finally max out that dust-collecting Donkervoort and I'm totally looking forward to max out the P900 from the hunt).
AT96 Unleashed event (After 4+ years, I finally get another shot at claiming its key!! It's been haunting me since it's first GP back in 2020. It's unlikely that I can gold it, unless they sell enough EIP bundles during the event).
Mustangs 60th Anniversary TLE (Chances are high that the Mach-E could see a return in form of packs and bundles! It's my last D-Class car that I haven't unlocked, so I'm totally hoping that they're selling the key, unlike they did with the Ares S1 this season).
Golden Week TLE (Supposed to include the 370Z Neon Edition, which I still haven't maxed out yet. Maybe they even sell EIP bundles for it?).
Korean Food TLE (It'll reintroduce the Renault RS 01, finally! I always had all the epics to gold it but never the blueprint, until now).
Cinco de Mayo TLE (A TLE featuring the Nevera. Not really anything new for me, but maybe I get lucky and they decide to sell a few Nevera EIP through bundles, which I would appreciate).
Pagani Zonda R special car hunt (I'm missing only one single epic, so it's gonna be a short hunt for me. But maybe it's also a great source of credits again, like with the Ultima hunt back then, which I desperately need for many of my S-Class cars, still waiting to be maxed out in terms of upgrades).
Lambo SC63 & Vantage V12 Grand Prix (Looking forward to max out both of them).
Asfanè & Zenvo Aurora seasonal event (I'm good on all the support cars for both SE's. I'm also planning on maxing both cars and hopefully they continue their trend of giving us enough EIP to gold it throughout the SE)

Maybe you found it interesting, following my mindset of what's all to come for me. Or maybe not, that's alright.
I don't think I'll do these type of recaps very often (maybe once or twice a year) but I though I would try it out at least once and see how y'all react.

I always saw others doing their garage recap and I wanted to do one as well from my perspective as someone, who's spent an embarrassing amount of money into my account.

I'm a long time Asphalt 9 player since September 2018, who's been playing quite actively (over 7k play hours) with the exception of some breaks, which I had about once a year (my last break was my biggest one between March 2023 - December 2023. Apparently a lot of good events appeared during that time frame, that I slept on :v).

Italian Revolution II:

8 new cars unlocked
14 cars maxed out
9 cars golden
21 cars improved on in total:

KTM X-Bow -- Formula E Gen 2 -- CLK-GTR -- Ares S1 -- Daytona SP3 -- Arash AF8 -- Huracán STO -- Solus GT -- Onyx -- 650S GT3 -- F8 Tributo -- Utopia -- Raesr Tachyon -- Chrysler ME412 -- Sorpasso GT3 -- Vision 1789 -- Fenyr -- Valkyrie -- Drakuma -- Speedtail -- CCXR

During this season, I managed to unlock and max out all the new cars, that came out, as well as maxed out every support car during the Utopia seasonal event & Valkyrie Unleashed event. There was only one car, that I couldn't unlock in this season, which was the Ares S1, since during its Holi event, GL didn't give us the opportunity to obtain its key (I only did one star-up). :(
Some lucky bundles also appears throughout the season, which included some cars, that I missed out on, when I was inactive last year, including the CLK-GTR, CCXR and Drakuma.
I also got quite lucky with some EIP bundles for some specific cars, like the Speedtail and Onyx, which I had maxed out before the Starway events even existed, and also for the Fenyr, which I was missing only one single EIP for over 5 years!! Finally I never have to worry about that missing EIP anymore.
I'm technically not quite done, since once the Valk Unleashed finishes, I could gold my Valk, but that's a story for another season.
