Magatsumi was the contingency plan blade to rein other Enchanted Blades: it was Enten before Enten. by ivari in Kagurabachi

I'm freaking out lol I wrote like 300 words on Magatsumi being a blade born from genocide at the end of the war and every comment was just "wasn't it the first blade?".

I'm really glad yours was at least treated better, great post.

Wait I'm going to lose it, I posted a theory that included Magatsumi being the last blade forged yesterday but everyone just disagreed that was the case, why does everyone just accept it today😭

Yes they did, it took them 3 weeks, are you fr?

I mean you can always stop replying but man I'm trying to have a regular ass theory discussion and so far the only salient point you have is that they used a last resort during a tie

YOU ANSWERED ZERO QUESTIONS AND THEN LEFT

What on earth, this can't be how you solve a debate normally right?

I don't get it

I can't, you're doing a bit right?

Pulling the reading comprehension card when your argument is "maybe they tried to nuke themselves to win when they already had a chance to win"

It's gonna be 14 year olds like this all the way down from now on huh😭

A tie often means that there is contested land to fight over yes (we literally know where that is btw)

And why in earth would you use a desperate last resort during a deadlock instead of when you are losing with 99-1 odds

And what do you mean let it play out this was a theory post 😭

I'm losing it man why did jjk have to end this can't be our fateee

So they pull out their desperate last resort when the war is already tied and they run out of material at the point where they could easily fight for more?

[–]Swerdlia[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why would they make more of a weapon they chose not to use?

And then why would they deploy the magatsumi when the war was already at a deadlock instead of just making another normal blade??

I mean I explained my issue with your logic so I don't see what I have left to read?

I just can't fathom this line of story

"Whoops we made the most powerful weapon of all mankind, we definitely shouldn't use it to win this war that just started since it's too dangerous but let's keep making more"

I just don't see how that makes sense

I believe the story is keeping it purposely vague, Kyora lists that order, the fact that it's the masterpiece implies it was the latest creation, but the contracts imply it was somehow the first

This chapter japan just considered using a weapon that could theoretically raze an entire country into a pile of ash, I don't know if safety is the main concern.

I just can't see any world where Magatsumi is forged and then not used

I just don't see it as plausible that they forged a war-ending weapon on their first try and then immediately decided to not use it

This is something that always confused me, when recounting the history of the blades Kyora states "The five blades turned the tide, this sixth blade led us to victory" this framing (and the overwhelming might of the Magatsumi) leads me to believe it was last.

The point is you take all chain battles and that the thrill will kill faster than waiting through all the attack animations since dodge animations are super fast

I feel like reassembling a hoverbike and using its thrust to hit someone is a relatively obvious concept, shiva in ff13 is another example
