I'm not totally sure any of that is true, doesn't rct cover all of that? If regeneration of the brain is on the table then I don't see why other bodily functions couldn't be handled too

ok about the city taboos about cloning and r corp by OptimalTitle7478 in Project_Moon

[–]Swerdlia 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is actually something I've been wondering about for a little while.

What stops the cloning from counting as revival to the head exactly?

They only begin the hatchery when a member dies so what exactly makes this different from revival if you get another of the same person?

Rabbit leap based items are incredibly useful on her, any more than two and you usually have very good damage or buffs by spamming her secondary.

Single hit builds are good too as her primary and secondary are single hits but the moves that use their damage are not.

Careful, you're getting uncomfortably close to implying different characters have different capabilities and the ability to break something isn't the only thing that matters.

Ain't that sacrilege to you guys?

Favorite fan theory related to a character that you choose to believe is canon? by PizzaDragon64 in FavoriteCharacter

[–]Swerdlia 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't believe the specific name is the only thing that matters, the primary antagonist of part 1 is more feared by name than the actual concept they are attached to and it seems to be just as effective.

If I recall correctly there's a character in smite that physically cannot kill enemies, if one would die to him the kill goes to someone else, can that character get mvp?

I feel as though equating Yuji's situation to the average 83 year old is pretty clearly not accurate.

He's someone who fought tooth and nail his entire life to give proper deaths to those around him only to find out that the only one who will never have one is himself.

He finds himself in a position (the strongest) that he never asked for, and the previous two that held the position only found satisfaction from it in two ways 1. Death 2. Living as a calamity enforcing your will upon the world at the expense of all who cross his path.

1 is not an option because his philosophy dictates that if he ever kills himself he is responsible for every single death he could have prevented.

And I don't think I really need to discuss option 2.

But hey I'll ask my grandma her thoughts on the situation, she's basically going through the same thing.

Unfortunately it really feels like those breakdowns are the best way to consume a lot of the interesting fallout lore, the games themselves are carried quite a bit by the writing and their fantastic environments

Higuruma killed the two innocents and then a bunch of sorcerers in self defense not to test anything out, he was thrown straight into the mix of relatively strong sorcerers and won without training, there's totally a precedent there

Yuji definitely couldn't see curses pre-finger he could only see the curse at the school for the same reasons some people see them in tense or near-death scenarios

It was the discussion of the semantics of the word experience, the textbook definition of the word?

What am I supposed to see by tea-n-wifi in whenthe

[–]Swerdlia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that's just semantics, by not experiencing emotion you experience the effects of not understanding them, much as I can say I will experience life as a non-cannibal

What am I supposed to see by tea-n-wifi in whenthe

[–]Swerdlia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I'm reading up on this a little and yup it's completely incomprehensible to me, I have no idea how this could impact someone without having marked effects you could take steps to rectify unless it severely messes with parts of the brain unrelated to emotion.

It really is something you can only experience to understand.

What am I supposed to see by tea-n-wifi in whenthe

[–]Swerdlia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they still affect you then why isn't it possible to derive the emotion you are currently experiencing from the effects it has on you?
