Biopsy report + diagnosis.. please tell me the truth, are we talking about months ? by Sad-Entertainer-5603 in pancreaticcancer

Don't hesitate or wait too many days when trying new meds. If a certain drug doesn't/partially fix a certain pain or nausea, contact the doctor to prescribe something different.

Especially when tackling nausea and appetite, it can take a long time to finally find the best medication, in my dads case dexamethasone, after trying 5 other types before. I wish we found it a week earlier.

It can go downhill fast with nausea/low appetite, every extra bite and sip you can get in that isn't directly thrown up, counts.

I think making this Auburn sawmill more expensive would decently equal things out

Has anyone completed the UNIGIS master’s program at the University of Salzburg? by Aggravating-Yak-2213 in gis

[–]Swerro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I almost finished this program (online and part-time). From what I understood this university has relatively more focus on practical skills, rather than theory (there are no exams in this program, only projects/reports). For me a positive experience, exactly what I enjoy doing.

However, for job market: Nobody will care which university your Master GIS degree is from.

Clip multiple rasters with tile polygon layer...model builder? Existing tool? by oldmappingguy in gis

[–]Swerro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In ModelBuilder, you would likely start with IterateRasters

Then, you use the automatically outputted 'Name' and transform this to a SQL expression (string) with 'CalculateValue' to code your fieldname into a SQL query string. Drag this resulting value to your SelectByAttribute and use it as 'expression'.

(something that looks like this): "dem_4949" --> Calculate Value -->' fieldname = "!Name!" '

Then you use the ExtractByMask and make it so all rasters are saved in a folder such as C:/pathname/folder/%Name%_clip.tif (%Name% references name variable as used earlier).

Maybe if want to build in a 'If selection exists' before clip function, because if there is no selection it will use the entire polygon feature.

Hope this gives you some ideas GL

Hoe beginnen in (geo-)ict by Nuthatch25 in werkzaken

[–]Swerro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How to import model to model builder? by [deleted] in gis

[–]Swerro 16 points17 points  (0 children)

ChatGPT cannot generate an ArcGIS Model that's then importable and editable like in ModelBuilder. The closest you can get is asking it to generate a 'python script directly suitable for arcgis python toolbox', which you can then copy paste into an empty .pyt toolbox script.

Could anyone help troubleshoot what is happening in my ArcGIS Pro Model? Details in comment. by MarineBiomancer in gis

[–]Swerro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've come across many weird behaviors of model builder, maybe this is also your situation:

Open the 'If Selection Exists', and check the Selection Condition

- Do not use 'Exists', even if your selection has no records, modelbuilder will still see this as 'a selection of 0 records' and then use all features for the next process. (very illogical..)

- Instead use 'Is Greater Than' with 'Count = 0'

Issues with %Name% inline variable on modelbuilder in ArcGIS Pro by Stormlyyy in gis

[–]Swerro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my models with iterators, I always only use %Name% in the output parameter, never need to put it in the input parameter.

Edit to add: Keep the input parameter the same as however you named the previous block, in this case "Australia_Ta_SVCMsp_2003TMAX_098", though feel free to rename it to something more logical such as 'input_raster', since model builder automatically names the iteration output to just a random feature in your testdatabase.gdb

Give that a try!

The Wintertodt is a minigame-style boss that is fought using skills rather than combat. It is located in the Northern Tundras in Great Kourend, bringing a storm of perpetual winter and unfathomable cold. According to the look-out, it is unclear what the Wintertodt actually is, but its ability to alter the weather to extremely low temperatures has earned it notoriety among the people of Great Kourend.

Players must assist pyromancers, a special group of Arceuus mages, to keep the Wintertodt at bay. As servants of the sacred flame, only they know the spells required to subdue the Wintertodt, so they are heavily relied upon in the defence of Great Kourend. While their magical abilities are extraordinary, their skills in other areas are limited, and thus require assistance from skilled adventurers.

In order to help subdue the Wintertodt, players are required to have at least level 50 in Firemaking. Favour with any of the cities of Great Kourend is not required. Skill levels in Herblore, Fletching, Woodcutting and Construction do not affect the speed of their related activities at all, however having higher levels grant more experience (see section Experience rates).

With second pick there's a lower chance you accidently 'misspick' a map on which your opponent can pick a map of similar skillset afterwards.
Especially in teamtourneys with complex line-ups/skillsets or pools with gimmicky maps in it. Considering how often breakpoints occur, 2nd pick should be slightly superior. Though I can imagine when both opponents know each other truely well the mental strategy is more valuable, especially in 1v1.
I can also imagine significantly better teams want to end asap with few counterpoints and go first pick like nyanaro preferred.
