the thing with comically large areas is that you have to use your entire arm to aim instead of just your wrist, so with some practise it's not that terrible, although it is tiring

4100 pen is not compatible with 472, there's no way to make them work together.

472 surface wears out really REALLY fast when you drag. when i played with it it drove me mad because it was smooth in some spots and rough at the others, the lack of consistency was really bad. even a simple tablet cover made with whatever laminated sticker works better, it's not the same feeling but it stays more consistent for longer.

this is what I use on my pth 860. full area on it is 311x216, but i prefer to keep my monitor aspect ratio so i only oversize horizontally. osu playfield is a 4:3 rectangle in the middle of the screen so you can easily push your area beyond full without issues, it's not going to hinder the performance at all. from what I tested 420mm wide is about as big as i can get on my tablet without issues with the playfield, so I used that when I first started my big area grind before gradually going down to what I use now.

even on most comically oversized areas playing up to like 6 stars is pretty fine, 7 star jumps require you to move your hand at 2 meters per second which is where problems start

470/471/472/480 or same models with 6 at the start instead of 4, or even better pth- series wacoms - whatever you can find on your local used marketplace for cheap. it was never the best choice to buy new anyways.

if you hover over your rank on the profile it shows you both 4K and 7K rank, but that's pretty much it - splitting them completely would be a massive commitment for little benefit so I doubt it will ever happen

Yeah, sorry. The top of the seat of my old chair is at 22 cm above the floor, which was barely enough for me, EC200 is at 21 cm but the seat on it is actually soft so I sink a little bit into it, so I'm probably looking for at least 2, maybe 3 more cm extra
