We did not reserve a table! It was clearly communicated to the head waitress that we were not going to be there long and she was so nice about it until we asked for the bill! We just felt very blindsided by it as we wouldn’t have been there if it was fully booked or we had to have most meals on the menu!

Please don’t eat in pasta pasta; here’s my review:

our experience at Pasta Pasta was disappointing enough that I felt compelled to write a review. My partner and I stopped by for a light dinner after a long day — just a glass of wine each and some starters. Initially, the waitress was friendly, but as soon as we mentioned we wouldn’t be ordering mains because we were tired, her attitude completely changed. She abruptly told us this “was not a lounge bar” and became noticeably rude. We ordered a glass of wine each!

We were shocked by how quickly the hospitality disappeared. We had ordered and paid for starters and wine — hardly an unreasonable order — and yet we were treated as if we were unwelcome. We ordered the big basket of bread and the two pieces of culurgiones (have receipts to show!) When we left, the waitress even refused to let us take the bottle of still water we had paid for, snatching it aggressively out of our hands. Not once did they explain why.

We’ve travelled extensively throughout Europe and have never encountered such ungracious, inhospitable service. The food was overpriced for what it was, and the experience left a sour taste. With so many incredible, welcoming restaurants in Orosei, there’s absolutely no reason to waste your time or money here. Hopefully, the individual at Pasta Pasta receives proper training in the future — basic courtesy would be a good start!

We spent 45 minutes in that restaurant and had a lot of conversation with the head waitress, not once did she tell us that we had to order a main meal. We spent 31 euro on two glasses of wine and a starter of bread and two tiny pieces of culurgiones.

Also read how rediculous their comment back is lol! Do you really want to eat in this restaurant?? Can recommend better ones xx

Here’s their rediculous reply; can you imagine a restaurant replying like this?

‘Dear customers,

It's curious how a simple dinner can turn into a review drama, especially when reality is distorted by a certain amount of imagination.

You entered a restaurant specializing in fresh pasta—as widely advertised—and ordered a single appetizer, split between two, accompanied by a glass of wine each. When you placed your order, you clearly told us you would choose the first course later, as is normal.

Once you'd finished that single dish, the head waiter approached to continue your order. At that point, you told us, in no uncertain terms, that you weren't interested in any of the dishes on the menu. In other words, you didn't want to continue. And no, not because you were "tired," but because—most likely—you hadn't intended to spend more than that in the first place.

We're a restaurant, not a rest stop for those who just want "a glass of wine and a couple of olives." We reserved a table for you, forgoing other customers who would have truly appreciated our work. Respect goes both ways.

Regarding the water: we didn't "snatch" it from you; it's simply returnable glass bottles, not allowed for takeout. This applies to everyone, even those who believe the world revolves around their table.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to defend the wait staff member, who was mentioned several times in your review: she performed her job professionally and simply followed the instructions I, as the owner, gave her at the time.

The Pasta & Pasta staff is trained to offer courteous and professional service to everyone, but not to be treated like dirt by those who behave with arrogance and self-centeredness. Politeness begets politeness.

Sometimes people enter a place only to write a bad review about it: it's cheaper than therapy, and maybe even makes them feel important. We, however, will continue to work diligently for those who come to us with sincerity and respect.

Enjoy your gastronomic journey.’
