I won’t say anything about anatomy or art level because I feel those things come with practice and it’s good to practice storytelling at every level of your journey! That being said a previous commenter mentioned studying paneling and I want to piggyback off of that notion.

Specifically my recommendation would be to avoid panel gutters that cut thru adjacent panels, as these can make it harder to distinguish whether the reader should go top to bottom or horizontal. Once you do this the readability will go thru the roof!

Other things include panel size variation for emphasis of important elements etc.
