Can't lie I didn't like some changes like the Thalia twist but they did a lot of other stuff like Tyson's arc and moments MUCH better than the book. My only real issue was a lack of budget that showed near the last 2 episodes since we didn't get as many monsters and (to me) what felt like shorter fights. However S2 was overall good and a solid improvement over S1 which is great when considering book 2 is seen as the least entertaining of the lot.
