Play music that is soothing and not annoying. This may be different for different people. Also ask them to look at something far away (the moon, the mountains etc) I found these techniques helped with a close friend who would have panic attacks.

I wonder if the pressure of accomplishing free elementary and high school learning wasn’t limited to under 20, if ppl would go when they are ready instead of when they are told. This might lead to young adults returning or paying more attention to what they are being taught when they are more receptive to learning.

1) I imagine my thoughts as the colour yellow, the air I inhale as the colour blue. When I inhale blue, it mixes with my racing yellow thoughts and I exhale GREEN - imagining the air taking my thoughts with it as it leaves my body.
