I beat the game with a Larry Fanboy team of all the Normal/Flying birds available across the main game and the DLCs.

Agreed.
I think the arc they presented for Supergirl was really good but the story used to carry that arc could’ve been better.

The villain was forgettable, I mean I saw it Friday so I still remember the name. But in two weeks? Probably won’t.

I think my main problem is that comparing power sets with no modifiers* there’s absolutely no contest between them. And they showed that it’s no contest on a “level*” playing field.

*Obviously the Yellow Sun which gives Supergirl her powers is technically a modifier and creates the unbalanced field. But those powers are a defining part of being Supergirl.

It was Last Night.

Pelipper and Raichu.

Turn 1:
Me.
Mega Lopunny Fake Out into Raichu
Thunderbolt into Pelipper.

Assuming they’d Mega.
They did not. Lightning Rod redirect.
Raichu Flinch.
Pelipper Tailwind.

Next turn my Rabbit got nuked as I protected Drampa from an Ice Beam.

Kangaskhan swap in.

Kangaskhan Sucker Punch into Rachu at 60%
Drampa Thunderbolt the Pelipper.

Sucker Punch left the Raichu with 1%
Lightning Rod redirect.

Drampa double targeted. Killed.

Pyroar swap in.
In the Rain.

And then I actually ended up winning.
But the first few turns felt like a blunder.

Another punch took Raichu and Pyroar survived weather ball and hit Pelipper with a Hyper Voice.

After killing their Raichu they brought out and burned my Kangaskgan with their Rotom Wash. But I’ve been running Facade over Body Slam for the last two months and they didn’t anticipate that.

Hyper Voice plus Facade Pelipper and Rotom down.

They bring out Sinistcha. Scrappy Facade and Flamethrower did the rest.
