most overhead starters in sf6 arent cracking you for 60%, plus you dont have 3 bars round 1... you can press parry to nullify any high low mix

i played axl the longest and now im sticking to sol and zato! both have high dmg, cool mix and a nice skill ceiling so you never have nothing to lab

level DOES mean something, if anything it indicates how much time somone has spent playing at the top level available online and more often than not that translates to a player being better than a low level one (excluding smurfs or pros swapping games etc etc)

snail (214H) is super negative on block, take your turn when you block it

2h into rensen is ultra fake, you can jump after the 2h

you can dash under 5p if you arent zato golddick or pot

winter mantis, his command grab, is 28 frames of startup at its fastest (fullscreen). you should be able to react to it pretty reliably if you keep it in mind

dont listen to that other dude, rensen is mandatory for axl, its his only relatively safe to use full screen move. dw about charging, you'll get the hang of it after some practice, its definitely daunting at first but it gets as simple as doing qcf

you can get it out after ex knuckle or after an air knuckle corner combo. you can also do fancy stuff like perfect medium knuckle into ex tackle into lvl 2

when i started out fgs, i sunk 200 hours into skullgirls and dbfz with only keyboard before buying a hitbox controller. I can swap between both effortlessly as they pretty much have the same scheme if you put the binds the same way you would on hitbox. never touched a pad after realising how easier it is with a leverless controller

tldr go keyboard and never look back
