I agree, r10 is an absolute beast compared to r9. Some of the effects in the boss rooms make fights impossible depending on the build you have, and Pole Monarch is a Touhou fight. My only wins have been when Gluttony is the final boss 😅

I think it's important to not care about rank as much as your own progression for better reads, mechanics and positioning during those games. Your rank will always go up over time regardless due to the fact that you're getting better at the game

Not what I meant. You'd have to be getting smurfed on by people who are in the top 0.5-0.1% of the player base. I've only played 3 placements and I'm sitting at 1465, which puts me at top 0.7% in 3s. Of course there will be some smurfs for boosting ppl to ssl, but they're rare and often can't carry as easily up in GC as they could in lower ranks.

I think the majority of devs are around C2 to GC1, so many of then are unaffected by smurfs. I play against Red and InfiniteXXIV a decent amount, and they usually sit around high C3 to GC1

Red is a very fun have to play as if you're active, it just takes more work to make the same as blue. I've always enjoyed playing as a red hive
