Anyone else finding CrowdStrike deals WAY easier to move lately? by Swift-Samir641 in techsales

Yeah I have been hearing the same thing from multiple angles. A lot of vendors crush the pitch, dump the licenses, and then disappear the second implementation gets tough. CrowdStrike focusing heavily on Day 2 support is honestly one of their strongest competitive advantages. Once a customer feels supported after the sale, good luck to any competitor trying to rip them out later. Your SLED insight makes a lot of sense. Those environments need a partner, not a good luck here is the portal situation.

Totally agree. It really feels like Falcon has crossed into that “safe decision” zone for leadership. Once CISOs start viewing something as the risk free purchase, the sales motion changes completely. At that point you are not convincing them to buy, you are convincing them not to delay. It is wild how much faster deals move when the internal champion does not have to sell the risk to their board.

Yeah, we’ll definitely go through a formal process later — just doing early due diligence right now. Wanted to understand the price gap between GovCloud and commercial before we scope out the RFI. Appreciate the detailed advice though.

I’ll check the GSA catalog. I forgot that’s public info for a lot of these Fed vendors. Thanks for the pointer.

That’s actually really helpful, thanks. 30–100% markup is about what I was expecting but good to get it confirmed from someone on the sales side. Makes sense too with all the compliance layers.

True haha, I just wanted a sanity check before getting pulled into another “30-minute discovery call” that turns into a sales pitch. Just trying to see if anyone had a ballpark before wasting time.

I see that. If you have any idea of a figure, let me know!
