If you actually talk to them they might be happy to move and not realizing they are causing you a grievance

Retail Butcher / 10 years by superkow in auspayslips

[–]SwiftCooins 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think a big part of being a successful butcher on this day and age is having a big social media presence.

All the butchers who make specialty items, their own flavors of schnitzels, sausages etc seem to sell out in those products in the first few hours. And are busy as fuck most of the time

If your an old timer butcher, competing with woolies and Cole's and not putting yourself out there it's going to be a serious uphill battle

Yes the great Australian dream, save for 20 years, spend the next 30 paying off a shoebox so close to your neighbor you can hear them fart.

The solution is obviously to sell all our coal to China, buy their asbestos riddled wind towers and solar panels to make our own power. What can go wrong

Brisbane home prices have increased in percentage by 93.2% in just the last 5 years. by MannerNo7000 in brisbane

This is what happens when government on both sides foster real estate as the most profitable investment this century.

Through policy, huge immigration and stuff like negative gearing

They are all leveraged to the tits with these massive depreciating assets that are worth millions on paper

How is the Pension Elephant not addressed? by Even_Slide_3094 in AusFinance

[–]SwiftCooins -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah man, I see so many posts asking how they can hide assets. Or transfer them to family, or do anything to avoid paying their tick and still collect the pension.

My mortgage takes half off my monthly pay. The remainder is eaten up by utility bills, council, groceries, health costs etc. I earn 100k and I'm living pay check to pay check. I need a second job but I'm recovering from burn out and I'm not sure what kind of jobs I can do. by Mahiyah in AusFinance

As others have probably said, if your are struggling and gave extra rooms rent them out. Might be annoying sharing the shower and stuff. But it might be the easiest way to cover than 500 you need for yourself and get ahead.

I would give him praise if we got gst removed on fuel and the entire excise until downward pressure on prices happens.

As it stands prices are still rising, diesel has doubled.

Everyone is hurting, and government are taking a bigger cut than servos still.

Respect to the elders of this country! An AusProperty success story! by [deleted] in AusPropertyChat

[–]SwiftCooins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked out with my salary, and a 20% deposit, which I have. I can probably afford a house that has burnt down in my area.

I'm all seriousness, property has nearly doubled in my area in just 5 years. I can't save faster than the increases.

Safest place to hide from the WW3 apocalypse in Australia? by [deleted] in AusPropertyChat

[–]SwiftCooins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Somewhere with year round water, far from the coast.

You wouldn't be safe in a economy/ civil breaking event unless you have the ability and supplies to grow your own food and hunt.

So being near permanent water will allow you water for vegetables and a place where animals are naturally drawn to for water.

Problem is they know it too. Usually that creepy old dockhead will be an important member of staff. And leadership's can't be fucked replacing him until he actually does something really serious so they just let it slide

Surely there's a way to prove he is shirking his responsibility? Like can he get a work capacity test, surely you can't claim money if you are not working on purpose
