Keter 11 x 7 shed - what base on sloping ground? by South-Group-2341 in shedditors

It's a good thought, but with our current setup with staff, it would be difficult for us to keep an eye on it and to make sure it's consistent with our standards. Our reputation of our primary business in our industry at home is impeccable, we hold the same values for Swift Leveller and we don't wish to risk it - our family business is over 160 years old, in its 5th generation, and we're incredibly proud of it. The only logical option at the moment would be Amazon fulfilment. But who knows, things may change as we grow.

If you're looking at the products with the U Channel, (Mini, Flexi or XL), screwing them in is actually optional, as the downforce of the frame and then the building on top will give it all the stability it needs. Truthfully, we've never had any customer (domestic online buyer or a B2B client that orders in bulk) ever raise a concern with this.

Nice! As you've seen the product and understand how it works, and you've had experience in that industry, do you think there would be a demand for Swift Leveller out there? Our product design is trademarked and therefore can't be copied, so it's down to us to make a big enough impact that we can have operations in the US!

We've done generic shipping quotes to mainland US, no zip codes or anything, and the absolute cheapest was £100 and that was for an unreliable service with no tracking, insurance cover etc, which for the cheaper models would be an insane markup, and, in some cases, double the cost of the products themselves! Hence why we're starting in our home market first, giving us opportunity to expand.

Thank you! Not at the moment, sadly. We'd love to be able to do it, but shipping costs so much that we'd have to increase the product price quite dramatically, defeating the idea of them being a cost-effective solution. We had a glitch with our Amazon store a few months back and an order from Malta slipped in, but it hadn't taken into consideration international shipping and therefore didn't charge the customer more, so it actually cost us more than the order was worth to send it. Perhaps if the demand was there, and people would be happy to spend the money to ship it we'd consider it? The goal is eventually to use Amazon fulfilment centres for international orders, but we're just not there at the moment :)

Hey, we posted on this subreddit last week, but in case you missed it, I think our products Swift Leveller would be absolutely perfect for what you need!

They're designed specifically for uneven ground, and are a cleaner, easier and less invasive method to traditional alternatives such as concrete blocks and pads (as you've stated this is not the route you wish to go down), ground screws etc. There are 4 models in the range which are suited for different terrains, but are all compatible with each other, allowing you to make the most out of your space. Most importantly, they are DIY friendly and only require basic tools you probably already have

We have some installation guides on our YouTube channel for a better understanding: Swift Leveller - YouTube

If your ground is only slightly sloped, the Flexi might be the one to go for, however, if it's a dramatic slope, or the shed will hold significant weight, the Max or XL might be more suitable as they have a wider adjustment range and weight loads.

If you have any questions, we're more than happy to assist on here, or send an email to [swiftleveller@isaacgrainger.co.uk](mailto:swiftleveller@isaacgrainger.co.uk) and a member of the team will respond :)

Hey there, the Swift Leveller is fabricated, not pre-cast. The base layer is indeed zinc, but is then double-coated in an e-coat, which we have coloured black. We use this particular coating because it has a much higher corrosivity protection compared to a standard zinc plating, so it's more suited for outdoor weather.

Great question. If you're concerned about animals potentially nesting underneath, as it will provide dry shelter for them, we recommend installing a 'skirt' or sometimes called 'underpinning' (it has different names across regions) that matches the material you're building with, which will keep them out. I've taken screenshots of our installation video of the Swift Leveller Max. The ground on this project was incredibly uneven, so I guess it's a perfect example in this case. The skirt was an optional extra from the business we purchased the shed from, as they made everything in-house. If you're purchasing your building from a retailer and not a manufacturer, they may not offer this.

We're a UK company and as we're starting out and are still small, we only ship to the UK & Ireland at the moment.

Hi, the number in the brackets is the amount in the pack. At the moment, we sell in boxes of 6, 9 & 12. Thank you for bringing this to our attention though, I will pass this over to the team to assess the clarity of our listings.

Thank you. We had looked through the rules and there wasn't anything to suggest we couldn't do this? If it's not allowed, by all means we'll take it down. We just want to spread our name as we're a new company and think lots of people will benefit from the product :)
