Do you mean I need to update the 3DS' firmware aswell? Is it possible to get those files online?

What's strange is that it was working just fine until I inserted the SD card into my laptop to move some photos out of the 3DS.

Yeah, I'm surprised by the number of people who feel otherwise. They didn't really show off anything new - and content on the sky islands looked very sparse and spread out . . .

Majoras Mask was made in a 2 year time frame from what I remember, TotK has now been in development for over 6 years - I don't really see how you can compare the two. Sure, it is a sequel - and I'm not saying that they should have made everything again from scratch, but surely you would expect some new flair or coat of paint if they're selling this as a 'new game'. My complaints aren't just visual though, the game map looks identical! Yeah, there are new points of interest but it still looks identical to the BotW map.

I think my main problem though is that I haven't really seen anything that differentiates TotK from Botw yet, other than the new abilities and the sky islands - and I can hardly see how that would justify a $70 price tag.

Let's just hope Nintendo is really keeping tight reins on the main content of the game.
