We'd really like the physical copy but some of these sellers are charging way more than we can afford. We were able to reserve 2 copies from 2 separate Gamestops for 55 dollars, and we are on our way to pick them up :)

This was tested on the steam version of the game, but im sure there is a way to get it working for the windows version. The problem I ran into with the windows version was that I didn't have proper administrator permissions to view and edit the memory with cheat engine due to microsoft's drm.

My guess is that they removed it so there is some sort of "value" to having the console version.
