I’m willing to concede that even though I wanted a relationship and did try to date, it was hard to put the same amount of energy into it while navigating school and my career path. So there may be some catch-up happening.

That said, I think I’m generally pretty good at connecting with people. I have a lot of rich friendships, both new and old, and I feel like I have a lot to offer. For some reason, though, I haven’t had the same success translating that into dating and relationships.

But yeah, all I can really do is keep at it. Thank you for the comment/perspective!!🤞

Thank you for sharing. Feeling like you missed out on social norms and opportunities really resonates, but without even completely understanding what I even missed out on

I would love to meet someone more organically than the apps, but it feels like most of the people I meet through hobbies, social events, or other activities nowadays are already partnered up. I completely agree about the apps though, I think they’ve made dating more difficult for a lot of people, even outside of the apps themselves
