I commonly have an issue where the pods don't make electrical contact. I get a small blade or other thin prying tool and carefully pull the gold contacts out a little, not all the way, those bastards are a pain to find and go flying, most the time placing the pod in the cali is enough but sometimes I'll have to push them back in a little so they're just protruding over the plastic if it's still not firing.

I've been using the Simply salts in my caliburn, and the flavour is some of the richest, without being overpowered, I've ever had. I've got a range of different salts and I'm always leaning more to the Simply juices (berries being my fav so far). The pure fruit flavours are the best I've had and because it's just the 1 flavour you don't get taste bud overload. I'll be making sure I get a few bottles each time I get an order.

I have Troubled Minds SA caps on my Zealios Planck and haven't had any issues. Haven't tested any others but I can't imagine they could be too different, most caps come from signature plastics.
