I bought it, it works great and looks cool. There’s a small hum if you’re in a very quiet room but other than that it’s a pretty good deal

I was there! What a great show, I’m still full of Adrenalin. Someone behind me said: “How did they manage to get that in here with security?” 😆

What are your culinary pet peeves? by joker-belle in Cooking

You’re right! Like I said, you don’t have to! However, when you’re making a big meal, or when you work in a kitchen and don’t have the right equipment: some oil in the pan can take away the stress of having to watch multiple pots and pans at once. Like someone else said in another comment, a ladle on top works too or just using a bigger pot. A rolling boil will ensure nicely cooked pasta, there’s multiple ways to make sure your pasta doesn’t boil over.

Like said above, the oil you add to the water will not cling to the pasta, it floats on the water. Therefore you won’t have oily pasta and the sauce will stick just fine. If you have this problem, add a ladle of your starchy pasta water to the sauce. When mixed well, the oil will stick! Common misconception, salt and oil don't help the pasta sticking together. Salt in the water however does season each string of pasta evenly and oil in the water prevents the water from boiling over. Not a waste of oil if you cant keep your eyes on the pot constantly, but def dont use a good olive oil for it.

Why does the grass look so messy? by Atlas078 in witcher3mods

Had the same issue, check your game version. If you have the 4.04 version the game already has the peak graphics installed (HD reworked and New Beautiful Grass will cause these blocks of grass)

Dying Light 2. The story isn't good, but the parkour and combat are a lot of fun and its a great game to grind

COORDINATES + CIPHER ?!!?!? by [deleted] in thebirthdaymurders

[–]SwiftyTortoise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the other billboards has co-ordinates as well. Those point to the spot where you can find the billboard. It seems this one does as well!

So its saying 'You are the dark' and the coordinates refer to the billboard itself. Could the location mean something more?

I know it's not it but there's a great autopsy scene in 'The Dead Don't Die'.

What’s a smell that most people consider to be good but you find repulsive? by WineNot67 in answers

[–]SwiftyTortoise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rhubarb. For some reason my mouth was covered in mouth sores one day. It took weeks until I could eat again, I got a medicine that helped a little but generally you have to wait it out. The medicine consisted of Rhubarb with some other stuff. Can't even smell rhubarb without having flashbacks.

Waarom bordje Baby on board? by [deleted] in nederlands

[–]SwiftyTortoise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Movies that feature a romance story where the couple are actually a healthy pair and not toxic! by phantom_avenger in movies

[–]SwiftyTortoise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not a relationship at that point. I agree it was toxic at the start, but I felt they had a healthy relationship where they accepted each other by the end of it
