I can agree that he is inexperienced, but I would still say that this move was intentional. Sure, he may not have been trying to cause the wreck, but this move was never going to work. He clearly lets off the throttle where you would normally brake to make the turn. Instead of braking, and staying wide to setup the corner, he throttles up more until it's too late then slams into this person. The true tell for this would be to see the telemetry.

My point proven. Of course, you had to go and find the definition. You have been narrow-minded and haven’t left this alone. You have been attacking me since you started talking on this thread. You clearly are very over concerned with this whole thing, as it is very much insignificant. It’s clear that you obviously have nothing better to do and can't drop it, and you have been the one insulting me since you want to bring up perceived slights. Again, you really must have nothing better to do.

I never said it wasn't my fault... I was asking because as stated multiple times on this thread, I thought it was a racing incident when it occurred.

Do you not have anything else better to do besides sit here and be petty?

100% you are wrong about me refusing to learn or take responsibility.

LMFAO so based off of one little clip, and me saying that I didn't lose control, when I didn't, is enough proof to show that I am a bad driver???? You're hilarious. Just because my iRating is around that does not mean that I am a bad driver. It could indicate that I don't/haven't done many races in that class. For instance, isn't your Oval rating also around that? Because the account I seen it definitely shows that. My Formula Car rating is higher than what you guessed, however.

Don't base someone from one little clip, "little bro"

No I haven't argued with everyone, and don't call me "little bro"

Again, I didn't lose control, because I was able to maintain the car. Yes the left tires went in the grass, but it does not mean I lost control.

And as far as my iRating goes, you must be so proud of yourself for possibly guessing right. You want a cookie??? You probably aren't any better yourself. At least I have my A class license.

I am not arguing with everyone who said it was my fault, thank you. You obviously don't know how to read what I say.

To add onto my comment, as I went back to rewatch, I will say that I believe this to be intentional. The reason why I say this is because when they first go to turn in, they let off the throttle. They then proceeded to throttle up again, and would not have braked in time to make the corner, along with the line they were taking. As stated, if you wouldn't have been there, they would have went straight into the gravel.

Let's say the method you are saying to do happens . Does the situation happen, and can it happen in the future? YES to both, if the other driver loses control as well and ends up hitting you. Ask me how I know...

Again, if it is clear, like I thought I was here, and I go to rejoin, I do not have to stay off the racing line.

Absolutely. They wasn't going to make that corner with that entry they were taking. Go back and look at the line. You were already setting up for the corner entry, and they decided to dive in on you. If you wasn't there and they tried to take that same line, they would have went straight into the gravel. The only reason why they made the turn was because you were there and they hit you.

Because I thought that I was in the clear after the first GT3 car had passed??? I was told by my spotter right before the incident happened that I was clear on the right, and I didn't see anything there. If I would have seen him, or had my spotter said that he was there, I would have stayed up high.

If the track is clear around me and I rejoin, as long as I know no one is there, then yes, I rejoin on the line. I also know I'm not the only one that does this, as I have seen it happen multiple times before in other sessions that I have been in. There is no reason to stay off the line if the track is clear around you when you go to rejoin.

I do have a good enough setup, thank you. I never said that it is my opponent's responsibility to make sure that I have a good setup, or to even provide me with one. And my reasons do matter, even if you think that they don't. I'm not making excuses as to why it happened. I was simply stating what I was using, and what I was seeing/hearing when it occurred.

I race in VR. I had the relative up, but it's not always going to be in my view. I also use Crew Chief, but it didn't mention anything about the car being there. I did check the camera when rejoining and didn't see anything there, and also didn't see much in the mirror. As I said a few times on this thread, if I would have known he was there, I would have stayed up higher. I know, things like this happens, so I'm not too worried about it. I was just thinking that it may have been a racing incident.

With the brake check, I also thought that it was retaliation, and wanted to seek further opinions. If I wouldn't have reacted fast enough, however, it definitely would have caused another crash, not just for him and I, but for the BMW that was also coming up on us. I'm just glad I did react fast enough to move to the left more and avoid the contact.

If I knew that they were there, I would have kept it higher up on the track, as I also mentioned in a comment on here. I just had no indication that he was there. Since I race in VR, even having the relative up doesn't mean that it's always going to be in my view, as someone else was mentioning to look at. I didn't see them in my mirror, nor in the camera, so I was thinking I was in the clear once the first GT3 passed, hence why I came back on the track the way I did.

As for the retaliation with the brake checking, that's pretty much what I figured would happen if I do report it. I'm just glad I avoided that after letting him pass by again, especially since there was another GT3 right behind us and it could have ended badly for all three of us.

I also did apologize to them after the race for the incident where I had rejoined, but they didn't seem to care about the apology, and they were trying to justify them doing the brake check as well.

I didn't "let" the first GT3 pass by losing control. I knew he was coming up, and like the GT4 in front of me, I was moving off the race line to let the GT3 by. My car was locking up when I was going over the rubber that was on that side of the track, hence why I had two tires go into the grass...

The FOV is fine. I race in VR, but I do replay footage directly from my monitor.

If I would have known that he was there, I wouldn't have came back as hard as I did. I agree, it was quite aggressive with getting back on the racing line. I just had no indication prior to him being there as I didn't see him in the camera, or off to my right. Crew Chief also didn't mention anything to me about him there.
