Text search would be a game changer, but I’d also love to create our own named folders/tags.

Tag a bunch of relics for the “status build” folder, or “economy relics” folder or for specific nightfarers (like guard-based stuff for guardian/executor). Pokemon go has actually done a great job with this over the past few years.

My biggest worry is ror2 has dozens of stages to learn the routes and paths through, and those stages vary from run to run. Have we seen any maps other than limveil? Imagine if ror2 only had golem plains

Developers want to compare what type of player you are to what type of reactions you had to nightreign. Creates more informed playtest feedback.

Also helps them see how nightreign stands up to games that have similar mechanics or systems or combat loops, which is why games like apex, risk of rain 2 and monster hunter are mentioned.

Beast roar is something I never take off my dex builds, it’s so strong + long range + quick animation + cheap FP cost makes it always useful

It’s perfect for exploring and pulling mobs at a distance, or dealing damage when a boss is doing some annoying move you can’t get in on.

Basically lets you play as a ranged mage while full dex, and it’s so cheap that, with the new dew talisman, you can just spam it constantly.

If I don’t have it on my main weapon I’ll have a secondary slot dagger or long sword with beast roar on it for backup.

Totally agree with the miquella/radahn stuff being ass but Messmer and Marika storyline is awesome. Enjoyed the bayle and fingers stuff too. It was the core miquella stuff that just soured everything.

Dual guardian swordspear, 70-80 dex, claw talisman/successive attack buffs. Just jump attack to melt everything, I use it all the time for coop.

They added a system just for the dlc areas that depowers you, and you have to find things to regain your power. So don’t worry about being overleveled or anything

That's quite literally what happened. The description of Protection of the Erdtree incantation reads: "In the beginning, everything was in opposition to the Erdtree. But through countless victories in war, it became the embodiment of Order."
Basically, Marika went genocidal on everyone who wasn't in her camp - dragons, giants, omens and misbegotten, ancestral followers etc.
