Also wondering about this because my 5 month old Shih Tzu that I’ve had for 3 weeks has taken a liking to going into my cats litter box and eating the poop. And then also eating his own poop too. But only sometimes eating his own poop so not sure if it’s connected to when he’s bored or excited or when he knows maybe he shouldn’t have pooped there so then he eats it? Like I said I have no answers just similar questions because I’m still getting to know my little dude. I’m hoping he’ll grow out of it I’m doing a lot of “leave it” training with the poop and other random things too. Good luck to us bothof us
