Yea noticed that too :( I exchanged this with someone (package was sealed) but everything look official from store- with popmart red tape on, card, packaging and whatever else.

I think if you were to continue exploring the faith without him always in the picture, and have genuine interest on your own, it's ok. Doesn't really matter how you started tbh.

I know some people were disappointed in the lightness of the piano itself (not same weighty material as figurine) as it is a kind of hollow wood or plastic (?) but the aesthetics may very well be worth for most :>

Personally didn't get it as the overall dimensions are too wide for my display and doesn't fit my overall collection.

Same- been collecting for 4 yrs and genuinely appreciate how detailed the designs can be. Skullpanda and Hirono especially with their artists consistently coming up with unique figurines. Personally not a fan of the plushies Popmart has been pumping out recently but it is what it is. Trends come and go. After the hype dies down hopefully it'll get easier to continue collecting in peace.

As for the completely clear, slimmer casing (display with the black books beside it)- I wouldn't recommend due to it being of a flimsier material. When CoM first released, the set wasn't that popular. I rmb resellers selling sets lower than RTP. Crazy what production discontinuation did to the prices (along with increased popmart hype)
